Dear Rescue Team, I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to you with a heartfelt request and a bit of an urgent situation. My father has recently been hospitalized and unfortunately won’t be able to return home for the foreseeable future. He has a beloved dog named Maddie, who is around 11 or 12 years old. Maddie has been his loyal companion, and it’s deeply important to us that she’s placed in a caring environment. At the moment, we don’t have any family members who can take Maddie in, and we are hoping your rescue might be able to help us find a temporary foster home for her. Maddie is gentle and well-behaved, and we want to make sure she continues to receive love and care during this difficult time. If you have any capacity to assist or could point us toward resources, we would be incredibly grateful. Thank you so much for all the work you do and for considering our request. Meeka is small petite for her breeds! She has done some advanced training doing public outings at restaurants and hospitals to see if she could pass for a service dog. She could she alerts for breathing and PTSD and she is calm when under vest. She is NOT calm when at home or out of vest. She has a high drive and will calm down in the home or the crate and she does do excellent in a crate. She is just a super super intelligent girl and would be perfect to finish her out. We were going to put her through our project max SD program but we had some family loss and trauma and I put her off too long and need to play catch up with other program dogs. They are microchipped . They are also flea free with frontline or bravecto flea prevention.
