Story
Aspen is very people oriented and loves children. She is an amazing hiking partner - stays near us, zero reactivity to people or other dogs on the trail. She is very athletic and will need active owners with time to exercise and play with her several times a day. She is well trained - good sits, stays, comes, etc. The only issue we have, which is a big one because we have four pups, is that she needs a home WITHOUT other dogs. She becomes aggressive with our other dogs when they get into her space - in the car, playing with a toy, and generally when she thinks one of our other dogs is challenging her alpha status. However, she does very well with dogs outside of her pack. She is highly social with other dogs at a dog park, restaurant, etc. Her in-pack aggression is because she is devoted to her people and knows we also love our other dogs. She shows her jealousy by aggressively letting our other dogs know she is the alpha pup.

My father has recently been hospitalized and unfortunately won’t be able to return home for the foreseeable future. He has a beloved dog named Maddie, who is around 11 or 12 years old. Bama is a sweet dog, just needs to be with family that has a fenced in back yard or room for him to run. He loves laying in the yard and soaking up the sun, chasing laser light, playing tug of war with his ropes, and chewing on his squeaky toys. He does very well in the car. We just do not have the space for him to run and play. I need to rehome him asap. We just want him to go to a good home and I have a lot of things that can go with him, toys, bedding, snack, food, leashes and collars etc. I had paid for training and they said who ever adopts him they can redo the training at no additional cost so Bama learns commands from them.
