Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Orlando, FL Meet Willow! She is an 2 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 30 lbs. She is spayed and microchipped, but isn’t up to date on shots (except for rabies, bordetella, and DHPP) or on heartworm prevention. Willow is hostile around strangers. No kids, cats, or dogs, due to her reactivity! Willow bit the current owner’s boyfriend. She has also nipped other people visiting their home. The bite occurred after the owner’s boyfriend wanted to meet her face-to-face. He was sitting on the couch and once he got up, Willow bit him. She was sitting in between the owner and her boyfriend when this happened. The owner is surrendering her because of her reactivity towards people visiting their home. She is also downsizing and wants Willow to go to a home where she can receive the proper training that she needs. She needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Willow, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to ensure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Willow. Owner’s Contact Information: Valerie Trolian at (850) 902-4204 or valerie.trolian@gmail.com.

Story
Twix was given to us by one of our family members who had adopted him from a shelter and could no longer take care of him.He is approximately 2 years of age. I am looking for someone who has experience with dogs with behavioral issues since he does have a bite history due to him being previously abused. He would do best in a house with no kids and lots of room to run and exert his energy. he is very smart and will adopt good behaviors from other dogs around him. He is very affectionate but needs time to warm up and needs someone who is patient and wont rush to pet him. He prefers to be the one to approach you, not to be approached. He is reactive and has bitten his previous owners as well as his current. We are looking for someone who can afford to give him the training he needs. He knows sit and stay and knows when to respect another dogs boundaries. He does well during baths and grooming if its by someone he trusts. He has only been around small dogs but needs to be separated to feed

He is house broken and crate trained as well. He is fantastic with kids and loves playing with other dogs. Maverick is looking for a loving home who has time to give him the love and attention he deserves. He is ASDR registered as a mini-Aussie but is the size of a small regular bred Aussie.

Story
Bradley (formerly Bradley Chonkers) is still available for adoption! 4 years young, up to date on shots, and neutered. Bradley is a beautiful Aussie Shep mix that would do great in a home with other animal friends. Bradley had a rough start in life and would love to finally settle in his forever home. He is nervous at the vet (like most Aussies) and can take a little time to trust but once he does he's loyal. He really goes bonkers around other dogs so if you need a playmate for your dog, this boy is it! Dogs tend to really bring him out of his shell. Bradley will do best in a home with no small children. He has a very mesmerizing look with one amber eye and one ice blue eye. He also gets along with his farm animal friends. He is currently in a home with dogs and a cat. If you'd like to meet Bradley please text Cindy at 321-263-5249 May 15, 2024, 11:09 am

Story
Nala is just at 1 years old. She gets along with one of our cats but not the other one. Which is why she needs another loving home. Great with kids and other dogs. She does bark at strangers but once told no she's good and is happy to see everyone. Has not shown any agression towards anything but once with the cat. She is picking up on commands and is smart but she knows what she can get away with here at home. Nala is potty trained to go outside and does sleep in a kennel. If she could she would sleep with you.

Story
Gemini Zod is a charismatic Aussie mix with a unique blend of charm and energy. This adorable pup came to us initially shy and scared, but it took just a couple of days for him to reveal the true star within. Gemini Zod has transformed into an outgoing and charismatic companion. His big personality shines through, bringing joy and laughter to those around him. Gemini Zod enjoys an extremely active lifestyle. His love for walking, chasing after a ball, and indulging in some bone-chewing sessions is truly delightful to witness. But the real show-stopper is when he decides it's time for zoomies – his playful sprints and twists are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Gemini Zod is seeking a home that appreciates his lively spirit and is ready to provide the love and engagement he craves. PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good. Story
Adopted him out of the litter at 8weeks in august 2023. He’s a very playful energetic and loving boy. He loves attention and will follow you everywhere. Amazing on the leash and loves playing with other dogs Looking for a family who has the time and energy to devote to taking care of him and giving him the love and attention he deserves I work from home and am very busy with business calls and going in and out the house I don’t seem to have enough time for him that I’d like to give. He loves to lay on you and be with you at all times. Loves playing with toys and will be a joy for your family. Unfortunately I simply don’t have time to nurture him as I thought I would and don’t want him to feel neglected or bored. Need a loving family with enough time for him who loves a lap dog

Story
Daisy Mae is a 7-year-old, 75 lb, Border Collie/Heeler mix looking for her forever family. She is UTD, spayed, microchipped and housebroken. Daisy Mae is medium energy and would love a family to relax with after going on walks and chasing balls. She is good with dogs her size or larger but not good with small dogs and not good with cats, and prefers no children. Daisy can be prone to UTI's so she takes a cranberry supplement to help prevent them. She has been known to guard items of high value and would benefit from an active and experienced family that has previous experience with resource guarding behaviors. Training will be provided at no cost to her new family to help ensure her success. Daisy Mae has to find her new forever home because she currently lives with a toddler and needs to be in a home without children under the age of 16 yrs old due to resource guarding behaviors. Daisy's ideal home would be an adult only home that is open to participating in training to make some minor resource guarding issues easier to manage. She is a well-trained, medium energy companion that would make an amazing pet. Please note, Daisy Mae is part of Happy Trails Animal Rescue’s rehoming program. Information provided is based on their current guardian’s statements and limited interaction with volunteers. They are not under the care of the rescue. They are under the care of their current guardian. The owner is subject to placement outside of our organization. We cannot guarantee availability. Adoption fee REDUCED: $ 75 ##1177999##
