Story
Ladies and Gentleman start your engines" Indie is here! This is one fun, active and loving dog! First thing that comes to mind when I think of Indie, is The Indianapolis 500. She is fast, has lots of fun power and is loyal to her sponsor/family. Indie just came back to us through no fault of her own. Sadly, her parents have been juggling work schedules and could not make it work. Indie has a wonderful temperament, a loyal, SMART and sweet blend of Cattle Dog and Australian Shephard. She's learned several commands and tricks. She would be ideal for an active, attentive family with a fenced yard. (Only reviewing applications with fenced yards) Indie can be "dog selective" so bring your dog.. Did I mention she's an Internet sensation in Dalton? Many have seen her cruising around downtown in the infamous Red Convertible and eating at local eateries. This gal fits in everywhere and loves having a side kick.Come meet our "Winner"; she will steal your heart! To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.

Story
Meet Wren, a resilient and loving girl who has been on quite a journey. She came to us as a stray and was adopted for 3 years, only to be brought back for a short time before being adopted again. After 8 months, I received a heartbreaking text: “We need to bring Wren back, we are moving and the rental in between moving won’t allow pets”. I was absolutely devastated, but I know Wren's story is far from over. This incredibly sweet girl will capture your heart with her affectionate nature, showering you with hugs and kisses. She's great on leash, housebroken, loves to play fetch, and gets along with dogs. She even enjoys car rides! Let's help Wren find her forever home where she'll be cherished and loved. 💗🐶. Did I mention she is photogenic 😊.My adoption fee is $295To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Story
Rubix is such a sweet pup. He loves attention, loves his playtime with his buddy and is "over the moon cute". Well mannered, already house trained and would be a perfect addition to a loving family. Rubix would be a great partner for hikes, camping and just "hanging out". A volunteer favorite, we are all shocked he hasn't found his forever, loving home. A home with a fenced yard would be great for this active fun pup.To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Story
Meet Leo, a vibrant border collie mix who weighs just a little under 70lbs. At 8 1/2 years young, Leo is still bursting with energy and enthusiasm. He thrives in the company of big dogs, and his best friend Cubby shares his love for exploring our scenic pond area. Leo has mastered the art of sitting, lying, and spinning, showcasing his intelligence and trainability. As he requires a fenced-in yard to prevent his curious nature from getting the better of him, a secure outdoor space is a must. Unfortunately, Leo needs a home with no small dogs or cats. Are you ready to welcome Leo into your life and share in his joy? He has been with us for over 2 years, and we can't wait to find him his forever home.To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved.
