Story
Ladies and Gentleman start your engines" Indie is here! This is one fun, active and loving dog! First thing that comes to mind when I think of Indie, is The Indianapolis 500. She is fast, has lots of fun power and is loyal to her sponsor/family. Indie just came back to us through no fault of her own. Sadly, her parents have been juggling work schedules and could not make it work. Indie has a wonderful temperament, a loyal, SMART and sweet blend of Cattle Dog and Australian Shephard. She's learned several commands and tricks. She would be ideal for an active, attentive family with a fenced yard. (Only reviewing applications with fenced yards) Indie can be "dog selective" so bring your dog.. Did I mention she's an Internet sensation in Dalton? Many have seen her cruising around downtown in the infamous Red Convertible and eating at local eateries. This gal fits in everywhere and loves having a side kick.Come meet our "Winner"; she will steal your heart! To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.

Story
Meet Echo 🐾Echo is our sweet, loving ~1-year-old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix (best guess). Rehoming him has been incredibly hard, but we know he deserves more activity than we can give right now. He’s full of energy and loves being outside. He would thrive in an active home—ideally with land, a farm, or someone who enjoys hiking and adventures. He’s very smart, house-trained, crate-trained, and knows basic commands (sit, crate, no, inside/outside). He just needs more time and training to reach his full potential.Echo is great with other dogs, good with cats, and wonderful with kids. He’s also comfortable around wheelchairs and mobility equipment. He’s truly a happy, affectionate boy who will make an amazing companion in the right home. ❤️

Story
Cherry Garcia is the kind of puppy who brings instant joy wherever she goes. Playful, curious, and full of life, she’s always ready to bounce into a game with her dog friends or chase after whatever catches her attention. Once she’s gotten her zoomies out, she’s just as happy to melt into your arms and soak up all the snuggles she can get. She truly loves people and wants to be right in the middle of whatever you’re doing. Cherry Garcia has that perfect puppy balance of energy and sweetness. She’ll run and play until she’s completely worn out, then happily curl up for a nap like the little baby she still is. She would thrive in a home that can keep up with her playful spirit and give her plenty of space to explore, which is why a fenced-in yard will be required for her. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to a number of locations within the continental United States. Please note: We are unable to adopt to residents of Massachusetts at this time. To apply, complete our official adoption application at yourlocalfurmama.com/adoption-application. Coffee Coffee Buzzbuzzbuzz has a goofy, lovable side that makes her impossible not to smile at. She thrives in an active home that can keep up with her playful spirit and give her plenty of opportunities to burn off that puppy energy. Chunky Monkey, affectionately called Monkey, is a sweet little girl with a playful and loving personality. She enjoys cuddling with her people, playing with her favorite toys, taking sunny naps outside, and romping around with her sister. Her gentle nature and happy spirit make her a joy to be around. Her bright blue eyes and sweet smile may look innocent, but Monkey definitely has a feisty side that adds to her charm. She brings a fun mix of playfulness and affection and would thrive in a home that enjoys both lively energy and cozy cuddle time. Story
Phish Food is a laid-back little guy with a playful side that shows up in short, sweet bursts. He enjoys romping around with his siblings and joining in on the fun, but he’s just as content doing his own thing and taking it easy. Compared to what you might expect from an Aussie mix, he’s a bit more on the chill side at this age and seems perfectly happy to go with the flow. One of his favorite pastimes is finding the perfect shady spot to stretch out and nap after a little playtime. He has a gentle, easygoing personality and loves a good mix of activity and downtime. As an Aussie mix, he’ll need a home that can provide structure, engagement, and a safe space to explore, which is why a fenced-in yard will be required. He’ll make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a puppy who brings both fun and a calm, relaxed presence into the home. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to a number of locations within the continental United States. Meet Leo, a vibrant border collie mix who weighs just a little under 70lbs. At 8 1/2 years young, Leo is still bursting with energy and enthusiasm. He thrives in the company of big dogs, and his best friend Cubby shares his love for exploring our scenic pond area. As he requires a fenced-in yard to prevent his curious nature from getting the better of him, a secure outdoor space is a must. Unfortunately, Leo needs a home with no small dogs or cats. Are you ready to welcome Leo into your life and share in his joy? He has been with us for over 2 years, and we can't wait to find him his forever home.To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved.
