Toby is a sweet and playful Australian shepherd saved from a kill shelter. He loves playing with other dogs and needs a home that has a playmate for him. Toby also needs an owner with an active lifestyle who can help him get all his energy out everyday and also requires a home with a fenced in backyard! Here's the truth of it: Toby has a bite history. Toby will be very loyal and friendly to his family he knows but he WILL display protective behaviors when visitors come over and if not crated or kept on leash will bite them. Meet Indie- a 2 year old aussie mix with the cutest ears and smile. Indie can be skittish at first, but with slow intros and gentle movements she warms up fine. She does appear to have some reactivity with barriers. Indie enjoys playing with toys and getting yummy treats. She loves fetch. Indie had surgery to correct an issue with a luxating patella and is doing great! She is about 35lbs, but has gained weight due to the cage rest after surgery and can likely drop some pounds. Indie is a herding breed, so as always, we strongly encourage anyone interested in her to do research on these types of dogs. Indie would prefer to be an only dog.

Story

Duncan; or Duck as well call him, is 7 years old. We got him as a pup and he has been a great dog. Like most Aussies, he is a lover and a comfort dog. He has always been a fenced in backyard dog so he has never really been socialized a lot so we are re not sure how he would be with kids or other dogs on a regular basis. He is current on all shots, he is neutered, and he is a very healthy dog. He loves to play frisbee and ball etc. We have to rehome him for two reasons. The first is that we have a 10 year old border collie and Duncan and he have begun to have issues with each other. We do not know why but we have not been able to keep them from fighting. The second reason is that we are moving to a condo and are only allowed one dog. Duck truly is a great pup. It breaks are heart to lose him but we have no choice.
