Story
Hello everyone! Meet Winston! Winston is a 2-3 year old Aussie poodle mix! Winston is a very sweet happy go lucky friendly guy right off the bat. He loves everyone and everything he meets and thrives with another dog to play with in the home.Winston when he first got here was a little anxious because he was confused as to why his life has been uprooted but he settled in wonderfully and his foster family has no issues with him whatsoever. Winston is wonderful with cats, kids and dogs of all sizes, he is great in his crate, and he has perfect house manners! He really just needs a family that can be patient for a few days and give him the chance to get used to his new surroundings! Winston would make the perfect addition to any home! Winston was only surrendered because his previous mom has a serious medical condition that will never get better and she was not able to take care of herself, let alone Winston! Adoption donation fee is $300 which it is tax-deductible and goes towards the care of homeless pets with Unchained Souls Canine Rescue. To expedite the adoption process you can send us a message at Unchained Souls Canine Rescue on Facebook to request an application or you can email us at unchainedsoulscaninerescue@yahoo.com and we will happily send you one! All Unchained Souls Canine Rescue animals are fully vetted: *Spayed/Neutered *Shots updated *Micro-chipped *Heart-worm checked and on prevention *On Flea and Tick Prevention You only need to see your vet for a “meet n greet” of your new family member and to turn in their medical records.

Story
Meet Grayson! Grayson is a 2 year old mix, possibly Australian Shepherd or border collie. He is currently in his adoptive home, but unfortunately it is not working out so we are looking for a new place for him to go. We do not have any open foster homes, so we are trying to place him directly into an adoptive home. The good: Grayson is a smart, happy, friendly, playful, affectionate, active boy. He likes other dogs and is OK with confident cats. He likes children. The bad: He can be a bit too playful for older dogs, shy cats or small children.Since he’s most likely, some type of herding breed mixed with something else, he does have a lot of energy, and he does need to be kept busy. If not, he might make his own type of fun, and typical of those breeds he can be a little bit noisy when he’s bored. ;) He also likes to drink… a lot… which means he has to pee… a LOT. Unfortunately he’s not good at holding it. He’s been seen by 2 vets, and neither have found anything wrong. We think he might be better with a dog door and a fenced in yard, or to have a home that spends a lot of time outside. Of course he needs to be inside at night, and we were told that he can usually hold it overnight in a crate if he is let out last thing at night and first thing in the morning. If you think your family would be a good fit for this beautiful boy, please submit an application at www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adoptIf you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to complete an application. Completing a questionnaire on any other website does not submit an application to our rescue, you must complete one on our website. If you have any questions, please email us at adopt@MidwestPetRefuge.com

Story
High energy. Crate trained. Loves walks or runs more but he pulls a lot. Would be amazing with a person who has a big yard with fence or something like that. He’s 5. He loves belly rubs and treats and will eat anything. Chases cats but doesn’t hurt them. He just wants to chase something I think. But he is a good boy. Does bark when he wants something. Likes fetch. He’s territorial over his crate sometimes, it really depends on your energy.

Story
Hi, I'm Bella. I was picked up as a stray and taken to a shelter, but now I'm with ARPO. I'm a super sweet girl who does great with people of all ages. I'm good with other dogs too and like to play but I am not OK with cats. My breed mix is anyone's guess. I'm a gorgeous dark brown brindle with some fluff, very unique looking. I am five years old and weigh about 25 pounds. I'm spayed, microchipped, current on my shots, and HW negative. I am crate trained and housebroken, but I will likely need a refresher in my new home. Oh, and I should tell you, I'm blind. It's really not a big deal for me. Once I'm comfortable with my surroundings I get around just fine. I love to go on walks, you just need to help me out so I don't run into anything. If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application and my friends with ARPO will be in touch! If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website at arporescue.org to learn more about our adoption process and complete our adoption application. ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis. We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.
