Story
We’ve had Wickett for the last 5 years. He has travelled many states with us and hiked many trails and has ran freely as a farm dog in between. We believe now at this stage of his life he would do best with an experienced family with no kids or kids that are older and can respect his space. Our son is in his toddler years and there is a lot of sporadic movements and food that puts him in difficult situations. He is friendly around our son and enjoys his pets when they are supervised. He is muzzle trained. Very sweet and loving dog. Wants to be with/near his people. Is very smart and food driven. Loves to chase squirrels/small animals and can jump 4ft fence. Meets new people best when he is outside in open space. Let him approach in his own time otherwise feels threatened. Very protective of his space and area. He knows sit, stay, down, paw, touch. He has a dog brother for past 5 years and just takes time being introduced to other dogs and animals.

Story
I first found Stink in my back yard a few years ago. She didn’t have any name tag or microchip. I asked around the neighborhood and no one seemed to know her or her owner. I tried to scanne for microchip and she didn’t have one. So I end up keeping her. She is super chill and fully potty trained. Really good with just one or two people. She likes to just chill and get pets gently. She doesn’t like little kids when they are trying pet her. Or too close to her face. She hiss at them. She has bitten a small dog near the neck but it was not serious. She over all really good dog just doesn’t like strangers, little kids and little animals. I need to rehome her due to moving back to my home country.

Max`s Compatibility:Dogs - Picky about his friends - slow introductions, pleaseCats - Max has zero interest in feline roommatesKids - Good with dog-savvy teens (16+)Max is clever, quirky, and looking for a home that truly understands him. He’s housebroken, crate trained, and loves his daily walks. Max is sharp, observant, and learns quickly, especially when treats are involved. He’s got that classic herding dog brain and thrives with structure, enrichment, and a steady routine. With the people he trusts, Max is affectionate, playful, and loves being involved in daily life. He especially bonds well with women and respectful teens, and once you`re in his circle, you’re golden. New people and busy environments can make him uneasy, so a calm home with older teens who understand dog boundaries would be a great fit.Max has worked with a trainer, knows his basic cues, and responds well to positive reinforcement. He’s not high maintenance—just a dog who feels safest when he knows what to expect. Give him a few good walks, a quiet spot to relax, and someone patient by his side, and he’s a happy dog.If you’re looking for a smart, loyal companion and you’ve got the patience to go at his pace, Max might just be your perfect match.

Story
Harper’s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - Passed Her Cat TestKids - Best suited for a home with kids 16+Some dogs are just different in the best way possible—and that’s Harper. At 7 years old, she’s smart, independent, and full of personality. She’s not the type of dog who’s going to follow you around all day, but she’ll always be there when it counts—curled up next to you on the couch, watching over the house like it’s her personal kingdom, or waiting expectantly for a snack (because let’s be honest, food is her love language).Harper is brilliant. She picks up on emotions, senses bad days, and loves having a job to do. She thrives on routine, structure, and training—she’s one of those dogs who enjoys learning just as much as she enjoys lounging. She can be a little picky about her social circle, preferring slow introductions and respectful interactions, but once you’re in, you’re in.She’s housebroken, crate-trained, and fiercely loyal to her people. She appreciates a calm, predictable home where she can be her best self without too much chaos. She’s affectionate but likes to do things on her own terms—think of her like a dog with a cat’s soul.Harper isn’t looking for just any home—she’s looking for the right fit. One that appreciates her brilliant mind, her independent streak, and her unwavering devotion. If you’re ready for a true companion with a personality all her own, Harper is waiting to meet you!-----Adoption Fees & Benefits:Under 1 year: $2001-4 years: $1005-9 years: $5510+ years: $35Fees include: Heartworm test (age appropriate), vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, complimentary bag of food, wellness exam, and rabies vaccine.Important Notice: A `meet and greet` with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas.
