Story
Fostered in Sioux City.   Name- my foster Mom is calling me Lucy and I seem to like it! Age- 3ish Breed- mini Aussie What was your life like before NDCB/Where did you come from? A breeding facility Who is your main caretaker/favorite person now? I love all the people I've met so far! My foster mom is my fave so far. Are you good with kids? Not kids tested yet, but I would probably overwhelm a little one. Bigger would be better. What age ranges? 10+ Are you good with other dogs? I have a much older foster sister, so she doesn't want to play with me. I think I'd love another dog to match my energy! Are you good with cats? I bark at the cat, but overall I’m fine. I grew up with barn cats, so I’m respectful of them, but I just like to play sometimes and they don’t. Are you housebroken? Yes. I may have a few accidents in a new space, but I am super smart and doing very well. What is your current potty routine? Lots of potty breaks when FM is home. I haven't had any accidents in my kennel. Do you like car rides? I did fine in the car, but she wouldn't let me sit on her lap, what's that all about? Do you like walks? When it warms up a little we will see. I think as long as my person is with me I'll be happy! I have a lot of energy to burn off, so I bet I will love them! How are you on a leash? I did fine getting to and from the car! Do you like toys? What's that? Lol just pet me already! What is your favorite toy? Do you know any commands/tricks? I sit on command and am learning not to jump How are your house manners? I get so excited with people I jump on them, we are working on it! Describe your personality- I am super sweet and affectionate and will be your shadow if you'll have me! ♥️ I'm either going 90 mph or dozing on the couch. Describe your perfect home- I LOVE attention from people, so the more to give me pets, the better!

Story
Name: Miss Norma Jeannie (spayed female) Age: 1-2 years old Breed: Mini Australian Shepard What was your life like before NDCB/where did you come from: I came from a home with 40 other dogs in kennels. Who is your main caretaker/favorite person now? My foster mom. Are you good with kids? I keep my distance with the 16 and 14 year old in the home, I am still a nervous girl. Are you good with other dogs? Yes, I have come to love my foster sisters. Jewel is an Australian Shepard (7) and Betty a mixed breed (2). We have a really rambunctious time together. Are you good with cats? Yes, I have been around 5 cats and they don’t interest me very much. Do I like car rides? I have been enjoying traveling with my foster mom to and from her office. I love looking out the windows on the way and sleeping on the way home. Do you like walks? We have gone on short walks as I am still a little nervous being followed. How are you on a leash? I am really trying my hardest to adjust to the leash. I love to chew on it and do an occasional acrobatic stunt when it’s on me. With time and patience I will enjoy it! Do you like toys? Yes I love my chew toys and love watching my foster sisters retrieve their ball. I would like to add that to my list of hobbies soon! Do you know any commands/tricks? I’m still pretty shy working on my commands. How are your house manners? I still will pace back and forth when at my home. It will improve soon. My foster mom didn’t like me crying at night so she lets me sleep in her bed, I do very well all night. I need a back yard that is fenced in so I can feel the freedom off the leash. I need lots of love and a patient human to show me truly how to be a dog.

Story
FOSTERED IN SIOUX CITY Age-3-4 Breed- Mini Australian What was your life like before NDCB/Where did you come from? Commercial breeder/ farm breeder with 40 plus Who is your main caretaker/favorite person now? My foster mom and also dad. She warmed up to us both fast! Are you good with kids? What age ranges? Haven’t tried yet. In a no kid house hold. Assuming she would be good. She has very calm characteristics. Are you good with other dogs? Be VERY specific here Yes, but it takes me time to adjust. I am very low energy, but I get along with my young energetic Australian shepherd I live with currently. Are you good with cats? There are no cats in my current foster however, all of my siblings I came in with have been great with cats and we lived with barn cats so most likely yes. Are you housebroken? What is your current potty routine? I have some accident but I just need to be let out regularly and I just don’t know how to ask yet. My other aussie tries to play with me but I can’t focus on what I am doing when she’s trying to play. Do you like car rides? Yes, but with being a foster. I get nervous knowing where I might be going. So you just need to calm me down. Do you like walks? How are you on a leash? Haven’t gone on to many walk since it’s winter. However if she on a leash she doesn’t pull. Do you like toys? What is your favorite toy? I like to cuddle and sleep rather than play with toys Do you know any commands/tricks? Sit, go outside and listens well if you want her on the couch How are your house manners? Good! I started to bark a little once I got comfortable in my foster home. However, I am a great leaner. I learn fast! Describe your personality- I am very loyal. I do well with listen to my owner very well. I love to cuddle up on the couch and I love attention from my owner. Describe your perfect home-  I can be in a house hold with dogs, it can take me a minute to get used to them. However we will end up being best friends. I do love my pets and attention from my owner. I will love you forever and I am sweet as a peach.
