Story
Fostered in Sioux City. Name- Hello, my name is Lady Age- 2 - 3 years old Breed- Aussie What was your life like before NDCB/Where did you come from?A commercial breeding operation closed down. Who is your main caretaker/favorite person now? My favorite person right now is my foster mom. Are you good with kids? What age ranges? I am curious of young babies of when they cry or play. (like to see them from a distance). I like to play with other kids and receive cuddles from them. Are you good with other dogs? Be VERY specific here I am great with other dogs. I am timid at first with meeting them, once I warm up I like to snuggle with them and play. Right now I have a step sister named Mocha who is a miniature schnauzer who loves to play with me and bring me her toys! We love to chase each other in the snow! Are you good with cats? Don’t know but I did live with barn cats. Are you housebroken? What is your current potty routine? I am learning to potty train, I have had no accidents in my crate and only two potty (pee) accidents in my foster mom’s house. Do you like car rides? I like car rides but I tend to lay down for the most part during them. Do you like walks? How are you on a leash? I enjoy the walks but struggle at first having my leash at first but with do better over time. I prefer a harness over a collar. I am still learning. Do you like toys? What is your favorite toy? I love toys. I love my small toy llama that is pink and has a squeaker. I love toys steal my foster sister’s toys and place them in my crate. Do you know any commands/tricks? I am learning the command sit and give me paw (handshake). How are your house manners? I am still shy so I like to sit in my crate and enjoy what is going on around the house. Once I feel more comfortable I like to get out of my crate and walk around the house and explore. I do like to watch little babies from a distance but from larger humans I like to have snuggles and Describe your personality- I am timid at first but once I get to know my forever home and my people I am a outgoing dog. Describe your perfect home- My perfect home is a calm home to whom I have various people that can cuddle with me and that play with me. I like people and other dogs to give me my space when needed.

Story
Fostered in Sioux City.   Name- my foster Mom is calling me Lucy and I seem to like it! Age- 3ish Breed- mini Aussie What was your life like before NDCB/Where did you come from? A breeding facility Who is your main caretaker/favorite person now? I love all the people I've met so far! My foster mom is my fave so far. Are you good with kids? Not kids tested yet, but I would probably overwhelm a little one. Bigger would be better. What age ranges? 10+ Are you good with other dogs? I have a much older foster sister, so she doesn't want to play with me. I think I'd love another dog to match my energy! Are you good with cats? I bark at the cat, but we haven't met face to face yet. Are you housebroken? Working hard on it! I'm smart so it shouldn't take long What is your current potty routine? Lots of potty breaks when FM is home. I haven't had any accidents in my kennel. Do you like car rides? I did fine in the car, but she wouldn't let me sit on her lap, what's that all about? Do you like walks? When it warms up a little we will see. I think as long as my person is with me I'll be happy! I have a lot of energy to burn off, so I bet I will love them! How are you on a leash? I did fine getting to and from the car! Do you like toys? What's that? Lol just pet me already! What is your favorite toy? Do you know any commands/tricks? I sit on command and am learning not to jump How are your house manners? I get so excited with people I jump on them, we are working on it! Describe your personality- I am super sweet and affectionate and will be your shadow if you'll have me! ♥️ I'm either going 90 mph or dozing on the couch. Describe your perfect home- I LOVE attention from people, so the more to give me pets, the better!

Fostered in Sioux City Name Buddy (male) Age: 1ish years old Breed: Austrian shepherd What was your life like before NDCB/where did you come from: I came from a home with 40 other dogs. Who is your main caretaker/favorite person now? My foster dad. Are you good with kids? They make me a little nervous but with time I will warm up to them. (Kids are 5 and 3) Are you good with other dogs? Yes, I have a 8 year old American bulldog (female) and a 8 year old male terrier. I enjoy playing with both of them. Are you good with cats? Yes there is a 7 year old tabby cat named Rikky Bobby I don’t bother him. Do I like car rides? I have only been twice with my foster family. I’m a little nervous but could get use to riding in a car looking around. Do you like walks? We have not gone on any walks yet. How are you on a leash? Not much practice it with time and patience I will enjoy. Do you like toys? Yes I love playing with ropes. And I do enjoy sneaking away with my foster mom’s socks. Do you know any commands/tricks? I’m still pretty shy working on commands. How are your house manners? I still will pace back and forth but every day gets less and less. I don’t get on the counters or garbage. I sleep all night in my kennel. I am warming up to my foster parents at my own pace. I will need a fence so I can run around. I am super unique with my stunning baby blue eyes 💙💙
