Story
🧠 Big brain alert! 🧠 And lucky for you, this big brain lives inside a very pretty boy 🐾named Tyson 🐾. He is a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd, and is typical of this wonderful breed, looking for action and intellectual stimulation. He weighs about 60 pounds. Tyson is well trained and knows tons of commands, including: sit, stay, lay down and shake. He is also responsive to whistles, and he will wait until his command to eat his food. He walks fine on a leash and is crate trained and house trained. Show him or teach him what else you would like him to do, and he’ll be all about it. Tyson is affectionate and loving to his people, and he gets along well with kids. You’ll want to pet that beautiful coat of his, and he’ll be happy to let you! He’ll do best in an active home with people who will further this training and give him opportunities to do jobs and/or go on outings, to feed that bring brain of his. He gets along ok with female dogs, but Tyson is reactive to male dogs. He should live in a cat-free home, as well. So if you want a boy who will keep you busy and keep you thinking on your feet, Tyson absolutely is your guy. No need for other dogs around when you have Tyson to play with and train. Tyson is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, as well as current on preventatives for heartworm and flea/tick. His adoption fee is $175. To meet Tyson, get approved to adopt, and his foster will contact you to set up a meeting. Apply today at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Story
🐾 Ozzie — The Ultimate Sweetheart, Toy-Loving Entertainer, Cuddle-Bug Ozzie is a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with a big personality, a big heart, and a fluffy tail that never stops wagging. He loves people, enjoys attention, and will gladly be your playful shadow. If you’re willing, he’ll play fetch with you for hours—he lives for it. Ozzie knows basic commands, wrestles happily with friendly dogs, and is an expert at fetch (especially catching toys mid-air!). He can be protective of his high-value items (toys, treats, food), so a home familiar with managing minor resource guarding would be best. He’s dog-friendly, previously lived with children, cat-friendly, and has wonderful leash manners. He enjoys his walks and thrives on play and connection. Ozzie also prefers to be with his people—he bonds deeply and can become anxious when left alone too long. Because of this, he will need a secure kennel and a home that understands and can support a dog with some separation anxiety. Ozzie’s Ideal Home: ✔ Adults or families who love a snuggly, people-oriented dog ✔ Someone home more often than not, or able to help him build confidence when alone ✔ A playful home ready for fetch, fun, and training ✔ A friendly dog companion—preferably not toy-possessive If you want a fun, affectionate dog who will keep you smiling and always stay close to your side, Ozzie just might be your perfect match. 🖤🐾 ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt. An approved application is required before we can schedule a meet & greet. Once approved, we’ll work with you to ensure it’s a great fit—and if it’s not, no worries! We’ll help you find the right match. All of our dogs are adoption-ready and come: •️ Spayed or neutered •️ Heartworm tested •️ Dewormed •️ Up-to-date on prevention medications •️ Up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines •️ Microchipped •️ With a coupon for a free Simply Dub collar from Dubdog Designs

Story
Please read bio before applying! Meet Merlin. This young man has had a rough go of it at just 1 year old. Merlin came to us as a commercial breeder release and when we got him at 6 months old, he had never been handled by humans. As a result, he is very distrusting of humans and requires a lot of patience and time to adjust to new people. Merlin is very dog friendly and because he is more comfortable with dogs than humans, we are requiring that he go to a home with at least one other canine. This will help set him up for success. He will also need a home with a secure fenced in yard, as he can be a bit of a flight risk, and he will need a home with no small children. Merlin has the potential to be an amazing companion, he just needs someone who will give him the time he needs to adjust

Story
Pet Location: Donner is currently living in a foster home! If you`d like to schedule a time to meet him, please contact Wayside Adoptions at (816) 986-4426.Hi there! I am a lovable little puppy! Even though I am cute as a button I will take some work as I adjust into my new home. Don`t get me wrong, we will have a lot of fun in the meantime but I will need time to understand what`s expected of me. I will need help on all those fun puppy things like house training and basic obedience. I want to learn everything I possibly can. I am pretty excited about life and doing new things! My goal is to be your lifelong companion and I should learn quickly with praise, treats, time and patience. I`d really love for us to get enrolled in training classes, after all school is the best way to get us both educated on what it takes to raise a puppy! It will be fun to watch me as I`m learning, after all puppies can be pretty silly. If you`re ready to take on all the fun and companionship, come on out to Wayside Waifs today!
