Story
Levi is a blue-eyed 1 year old purebred Australian Shepherd. He loves playing fetch, cuddles, and his sister, Lyla. Levi has an easy-going personality and is eager to please when training. He listens very well, and attends a doggie daycare where he plays great with other dogs and people. Levi's perfect home is somewhere he can have lots of space to run and bark. He is strongly bonded with his sister and would like to stay with her. We think these aussies would make excellent farm dogs! We are rehoming them because we feel they need more exercise and attention than we can give them.

Story
Has your bed felt too empty as of late? Do you have a small, suspiciously fluffy, roughly 40 lbs with 4 legs, hole in your heart? Fret no more, because Allie will fit that spot perfectly. This compact little lady is sweeter than a Georgian woman's homemade sweet tea. All this gentle Aussie mix needs is someone willing to take it slow and gentle with her. Despite her affectionate nature, Allie is still shy. It might take some time (and treats), but once you get her out of her shell and into your lap, she will never leave! Allie's goals in life are quite simple. First, be adorable. Second, find a face to kiss. And third, find her forever home! Allie gets one and two checked off everyday, but she needs your help with the last one! Come meet Allie today and see if she's your missing piece! Midwest Animal ResQ offers a 30-day adjustment period within which you can evaluate the pet's progress and your adoption decision. If, within those 30 days, you determine your recently adopted pet isn't a good fit, you may return the animal and receive a MARQ credit that can be used toward the adoption of another animal. Our biggest priority is finding the very best match for you, and Completing Families one Tail at a Time! All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, Heartworm tested, and current on vaccinations and preventions prior to adoption.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Lady was recently rescued from a breeder and is learning what being a family dog is all about. She is cautious and shy around new people, so she will need someone who understands her past and willing to give her the love and patience she deserves. She is doing great with potty training and starting to let her foster family know when she's ready to go out. She is a darling girl and is fine with all size dogs and kids too. She hasn't met a kitty.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Kiya has the sweetest disposition ever...her tail wags when you walk up to her. We don't know much about her past other than she came in with 2 sisters. She is scared of everything and everyone and is extremely undersocialized. She needs some time to warm up with someone patient and diligent (but she may always run on the more anxious side of life.) She is a flight risk. We are working on potty training, but it will take continued commitment as she is also probably more scared of a leash and being outside with all the outside noises than she is inside. She probably needs another confident dog. She's ridiculously quiet, like all the time. Haven't heard so much as a peep from her. Now she's wearing a little bell cat collar to help! She's silly, still got puppy mischievous tendencies, we keep her kennel open when we're home and she will come find people for the treats, then find something to snatch back into her kennel. So far we've found many random items in the kennel, like a dream catcher, hair scrunchies, a book, random stuffed animals, socks, etc She likes other dogs, doesn't mind the cats. Kennel trained (it's her safe space), does need to be fed separate, she gets growly when either cats or dogs are in her space when there is food or treats, but that's probably because she's had to fight for her food. She squirrels treats away in her kennel too.
