He is a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd, and is typical of this wonderful breed, looking for action and intellectual stimulation. He weighs about 60 pounds. Tyson is well trained and knows tons of commands, including: sit, stay, lay down and shake. He is also responsive to whistles, and he will wait until his command to eat his food. He walks fine on a leash and is crate trained and house trained. Show him or teach him what else you would like him to do, and he’ll be all about it. Tyson is affectionate and loving to his people, and he gets along well with kids. You’ll want to pet that beautiful coat of his, and he’ll be happy to let you! He’ll do best in an active home with people who will further this training and give him opportunities to do jobs and/or go on outings, to feed that bring brain of his. He gets along ok with female dogs, but Tyson is reactive to male dogs. He should live in a cat-free home, as well. Please read bio before applying! Meet Merlin. This young man has had a rough go of it at just 1 year old. Merlin came to us as a commercial breeder release and when we got him at 6 months old, he had never been handled by humans. As a result, he is very distrusting of humans and requires a lot of patience and time to adjust to new people. Merlin is very dog friendly and because he is more comfortable with dogs than humans, we are requiring that he go to a home with at least one other canine. This will help set him up for success. He will also need a home with a secure fenced in yard, as he can be a bit of a flight risk, and he will need a home with no small children. Merlin has the potential to be an amazing companion, he just needs someone who will give him the time he needs to adjust

Mila is a toy Aussie. She’s a well trained doggy. She rings a bell to be let outside to potty. She loves going on walks. She loves to play fetch. She knows how to sit , lay down and stay. She knows how to bring over the remote control lol. We do love her very much but we have a baby now and have been unable to take care of Mila. Sadly, we never have time for her anymore. We like to say she’s a “human doggy” not a “dog doggy” as in she prefers the company of people rather than other dogs. We’d love for her to find a new loving home. She’s honestly a really good doggy and would make an amazing bestie for anyone who decides to be her new home.

Meet Rocket! Rocket is 7.5 years old and is looking for a new home through no fault of his own - we are moving out of the country and can't take him with us! We have had Rocket since he was 1 and he is a fabulous dog, perfect for a family with kids or a single adult that just wants a companion! Our family has had kids ranging in age from 1 to adult over the time we have had him and he gets along with them well. We also have cats, and while he has never harmed a cat, he doesn't like them particularly well and chases/harasses them when he has the chance, so having cats isn't a dealbreaker, but it's not ideal either. He is a big, strong dog that loves to go on walks or to the dog park, but he is old enough now that he isn't destructive if he spends a day lazing around inside either. He is past the overly crazy puppy stage, but still has plenty of life and energy left to have a good time! He recently had his 3-year rabies shot so he is ready to go in that regard too.
