Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Laika is an energetic and affectionate Aussie/Collie mix with a medium coat and the brightest blue eyes! When she first came into foster care, she was nervous and protective, but with patience, gentle reassurance, and lots of treats, she now follows me around everywhere! O nce she feels comfortable, her sweet and playful personality shines through.    Laika loves curling up at your feet for naps and often checks back in for attention when outside, showing just how loving and loyal she can be. She is still learning the ropes of meeting new people and dogs—she can be reactive/vocal at first, so slow introductions are key. Due to her breed, she is a high-energy pup. Laika thrives on playtime, often chasing squeaky toys and playing fetch, or running around with our resident Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. Laika knows basic commands and is potty trained. She is very food motivated and is therefore eager to keep learning.   With continued training, patience, and love, Laika has the potential to be a loyal and cuddly companion who will bring both laughter and energy to her future furever home!   Laikia is from an Owner Surrender. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Cosmo (we call her Ellie), the delightful Aussie mix who defines "wiggle butt" with her perpetually spinning tail and signature butt curl! This affectionate girl is eager to please, thrives on praise, and adores treats. Ellie’s biggest wish is to be by her people – she gets sad when left alone and loves being a part of all the family fun. She does need to be the only dog in the home. She’s a curious observer of her foster cat brothers and does well with supervised interactions! Ellie is a sensitive soul who is making great strides with her anxiety and reactive behaviors in her foster home. She'll flourish in a calm environment with a firm, loving hand to guide her. She starts her day with an early potty break and breakfast in a slow feeder, often followed by snuggle time with her dad. She enjoys mid-morning play and crate time in the living room while her foster mom does chores, content just to be near. She doesn't like being left alone in another room, preferring to be side-by-side with her humans. Evenings are for snuggles, movies, and her beloved Kong toy, which she carries everywhere! Ellie is friendly but cautious with new people, quickly warming up to offer endless love and hilarious tail wags. If you’re ready to open your heart to a sweet, devoted girl who promises a lifetime of snuggles and entertainment, Ellie is waiting for you! al better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
10 month old male, needs a job and has limited training; in a foster homeWe do our very best in providing truthful information about our adoptable dogs. If you do not see information about one of our dogs’ personalities, it is because we do not know much about them yet. We do appreciate a dog meet and greet to see if the dogs are compatible, an appointment is helpful but not required. We can complete a cat introduction at the shelter in a safe manner to get a sense of the dog’s behavior towards cats. With that knowledge, we will provide a blanket statement that you are ultimately responsible for keeping your cat safe. We recommend crate training for all our dogs while they adjust to a new home environment. Please bring along your family to meet the dog you’re looking at to see that it is a good fit. Also bring landlord permission for adopting a dog which includes any breed or weight restrictions.
