This handsome slobber monster is 2 year Zeus! This boy is a big lug and has the most squishable cheeks. Zeus is super affectionate and loves his people, but he can have a little stranger danger at first. He does warm up quickly and then wants to explore. While Zeus is a very active boy he currently has a torn CCL in pelvis and will be having surgery on 5/5/2023 to fix it. He will be a foster to adopt that way our clinic staff can make sure he is healing properly. He is going to need a lot of cage rest and restricted activity until he heals.

Miss Blanche is an old girl with a heart of gold. She was found wandering the streets all by herself, no one claimed her. We noticed her face was deformed, likely from trauma so we ordered some radio graphs. Blanche is so gentle, sweet, and quiet, and what we found out next left us all devastated and shocked. In Blanche's radiographs, there are little white dots scattered throughout her body. These white dots are birdshot pellets that someone shot at her, likely for target practice. They are everywhere... in her jaw, body, and even her paws. It appears that the pellets have been lodged there for a while, as the skin has healed and grown around the pellets. We do not believe it is causing her any apparent discomfort as of now. We cried for her, but she has been smiling since day 1. This girl has already stolen our hearts and we'd love to find her an amazing home. This poor girl has been through so much in her life and we want to make sure the rest of it is peaceful, happy, and free from the terrors of her past life. In her foster home we found out that Blanche would prefer a home with no cats or small dogs. She does ok with large dogs, but would prefer they leave her alone.

We are a mix of Australian Shepherd and Great Pyrenees- hope you like a sprinkling of doggy fur :) Do you have a sweet tooth? Let the shelter people know you're interested in us! Avalon is a 2 year old Border Collie mix, recently adopted from a shelter. Avalon has serious potty training issues of not learning and refusing to go outside even when put on a schedule and reward system. Avalon also has Demodectic Mange. Demodectic Mange is not transmittable to humans or other animals. It was inherited by the mother of her litter. According to the shelter she was adopted from, she came from a surrender situation involving animal hoarding. She is extremely sweet, plays well, and is gentle with other animals, people, and kids, big and small. She does not bark, at least not that we're aware of. She needs to be under almost constant watch to attempt to prevent messes and destructive behaviors common in her breed when they get bored. We were really excited to have her in our home, but we cannot stay home to watch her constantly as she needs. Avalon would be good in a home with someone who can stay home almost always to watch her and attempt to train her.

Avalon is a sweet, well mannered, quiet dog. She had Demodectic Mange, which is not transmissible to humans or other animals. She also also not potty trained, and possibly never will be unless put on a truly strict schedule. We cannot keep to a schedule like this because all members of the household work. She needs constant supervision and attention in order to prevent accidents, and destructive behaviors common in her breed when they’re bored. She does not bark, at least to our knowledge, and came from a animal hoarding situation. She is very cuddly and sweet, and plays great with other dogs, cats, and people. We just do not have the ability to give her the constant watching she needs.

Dozer a sweet 4 year old who is very active and loves attention. He can be pretty rowdy and would love a home that has a fenced yard or that would take him on walks, jogs, or hikes. He plays well with female dogs but can be a rough and tumble type of guy. Because of that he would do best with kids over the age of 12. Dozer is a loveable guy with an adorable pair of mismatched ears, you'll fall in love with him in a heartbeat!
