Story
Bella is the sweetest girl! She is 5 months old, rescued from a very sad home. She was very sick when we rescued her, and after some amazing care from the vet, she is healthy and such a good puppy! We simply do not have room for her and do not have a fence for her to run around in the yard. She is full of energy and a cuddler! She loves to explore outside and play with a ball! (Or a sock!) She does jump on you a little, but only from a lack of training. We are looking for someone to adopt her who has a good yard, and kind owners!

Story
I’m off to college, but I’ll be graduating on November 14 and ready for my new home then. I must explain. I was chosen to be a part of the DARR Center Department of Ag Companion Animal Program this semester at MSU in Springfield, MO. You see, I really have gone to college. And, I’m one lucky dog! The students are working with me and 5 of my friends on basic commands and behaviors. I’ll be all polished up and ready for a new family when I’m finished here. If you’d like to meet me in the meantime, we can set up a virtual appointment – otherwise, I’ll be at my graduation ceremony/adoption event on Friday, November 14 just waiting for my forever family to come along. Hi there, I'm Paco. I'm young, but I've learned a lot already. I'm sweet, friendly, and playful. My sister and I were found wandering without a home. We didn't know where we were going, but we knew we had each other. I'm a little shy, but once I get to know you, we'll be best friends. I'm also smart, so I'll learn quickly. I'll be your loyal companion, always ready for a game or a cuddle. I may be young, but I have a lot of love to give. So why not consider making me part of your family? I promise, I'll make every day brighter. If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. #adoptdontshop ##2396045##

Story
Nova is a female yellow lab/Australian cattle dog mix. She is about 15 months old, she is mostly black with a white patch on her chest, and is about 50 pounds. We are needing to re-home her. She is vaccinated with up to 1 year shots and is spaded. I will be very honest with you she has lots of energy. She is VERY loving, loves to play, jump, and fetch. She is incredibly loyal to those she loves. She chases predators and loves to please her owner and I think could be trained to do many things with someone who knew how to do it. She loves to play with other dogs and cuddles up at night with our other dog.
