I'm Wallace. I'm a Border Collie/Great Pyrenees mix, sometimes known as a Great Collie. How fun is that. I'm told I have the perfect blend of brains, beauty and big-dog charm. I'm already 45 lbs at 5 months old, so I'm going to take after my Great Pyrenees side and be a big boy when I'm all grown up. I'm looking for a fmily who's ready for a big, loving companion - where I can have space to grown, guidance as I learn and plenty of affection along the way. If you dream of a beautiful pup who will be your adventure buddy and your snuggle partner - I may just be your boy!  If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. #adoptdontshop ##2616949##

Nova is a female yellow lab/Australian cattle dog mix. She is about 15 months old, she is mostly black with a white patch on her chest, and is about 50 pounds. We are needing to re-home her. She is vaccinated with up to 1 year shots and is spaded. I will be very honest with you she has lots of energy. She is VERY loving, loves to play, jump, and fetch. She is incredibly loyal to those she loves. She chases predators and loves to please her owner and I think could be trained to do many things with someone who knew how to do it. She loves to play with other dogs and cuddles up at night with our other dog.

I`m a 2 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix, so I have loads of energy to burn, and a fresh young mind ready to learn cool tricks. I can be timid and shy if I don`t know you, but I`ll be the best dose of friendly and fun chaos you`ve ever had once we`re acquainted! My favorite toys are squeaky, and my favorite bed will be yours. I`m a big believer in an active lifestyle and keeping your mind sharp. I`ve heard that you can do some really cool things through training, so I`d love to do loads of that! Pixel is a bubbly 4 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix. She`s on the smaller side, weighing around 37lbs, but she has a large and fun personality. She LOVES playing fetch and will play until you can`t play anymore! She`s an energetic girl that would love an active family, and a backyard is only a bonus for her. Come throw a ball for her, and you`ll become best friends in no time! She`s also a big water dog and loves to splash and play.She’s so loving and is so ready for a place to call home. Pixel`s a goofy bundle of enthusiasm, and she does well with kids ages 12+. She`s also not a huge cat fan, but she does enjoy playing with some dogs! She would do best with dogs her size or larger and would love to meet her future siblings before going home.
