Story
Meet Rocky, a laid-back, big-hearted guy who`s looking for the perfect companion. Rocky thrives in a calm, quiet home, ideally with an individual or couple who can offer him the peace he craves. While he`s tolerant of kids, he prefers to snuggle only with his bonded person. True to his cattle dog nature, Rocky is protective of his territory and takes his time warming up to newcomers. But with a few tasty treats, he’s quick to make new friends! Out in public, like at Lowes or the park, he’s friendly and allows people to pet him. He’s an easy-going guy who enjoys nice walks or short hikes and does well on a leash. However, he’s not a fan of other dogs and would prefer to be the only pup in the home. Rocky is food-driven, so with patience and training, he can overcome his dog-on-dog challenges.Rocky is fully house-trained, and he’ll always let you know when it`s time to go potty. He can be left home alone for long periods and is perfectly well-behaved—no chewing, no accidents. He’s also pretty good at following basic commands: sit, down, stay, and come. He doesn’t jump up on guests or try to dash out the door when it opens. While he can tolerate cats, small animals like squirrels aren’t his thing, and he won’t chase them. He enjoys playing tug-of-war and carrying around his stuffies (though he doesn’t chew them up!). Rocky also loves to bury bones and toys that he’s particularly fond of.He has a sensitivity to certain ingredients like corn, wheat, and soy, so he requires allergy-friendly food. He’s also afraid of thunderstorms, so a little extra care during storms will go a long way.Though Rocky hasn’t been crate trained, he seems to like the idea of having his own space. With his thick fur, he does require regular brushing, but professional grooming isn’t necessary. He`s not a fan of water or swimming, but he doesn’t bark excessively—just enough to alert when something’s up.If you’re ready for a loyal companion who thrives on a peaceful, loving environment, Rocky could be your guy!

Story
Layla was given to me by my nephew and his wife as a puppy. She raised around cats. She has been around small children. She is a loving dog who loves to hug everyone she meets. She will cuddle with you if you let her. I am looking for a home that loves animals. They must be caring. She has been spoiled and sits on the couch, sleeps in the bed, but with a little patient training that could be changed. I am willing to reimburse or pay for spaying and shots once she is adopted and settles into new home.

Story
Zeus is a very sweet, affectionate dog who loves to cuddle and be close to his people. He knows basic commands and is very food motivated. He is a high-energy herding breed with a strong instinct to herd, and we are working on training. For everyone’s safety and success, he would do best in a home with no cats and no young children, or with an experienced owner who understands herding breeds and is committed to continued training and enrichment. He is not aggressive, however any small animals or children overstimulate him to the extreme. This decision is being made carefully and in his best interest as well as my cats. Please message if you think you may be a good fit and want more information.

We are so excited to introduce Cookie’s puppies and officially make them available for adoption! These little sweethearts are truly sugar-sweet and already melting hearts. Their mom, Cookie, is only about 40 pounds and appears to be a petite yellow Lab mix. She is super friendly and so very sweet! The dad (or dad’s!) are unknown, but based on mom and their current development, we expect these puppies to grow into medium-sized dogs. The Cookie puppies are playful, affectionate, and full of puppy curiosity. They’re ready to learn, eager to love, and will thrive in homes prepared for all the fun, patience, and commitment that come with raising a puppy. With proper training, socialization, and lots of love, these sweet treats will make wonderful lifelong companions. If you’re looking to add a little sweetness to your life, one of the Cookies puppies might be the perfect match.

Story
Noodles is a 10-month-old Border Collie x Australian Cattle Dog mix. He is very sweet and his housetraining is in progress. He is an enthusiastic boy and would do best if other dogs are a similar size & activity level. Noodles has been exposed to a variety of activities and would love to do some type of nosework! He has been introduced to agility and would possibly enjoy dabbling in that when he gets older. Barn hunt and dock diving were not something he was eager to participate in. He is approximately 20-21″ at the withers and about 35 lbs. He is current on vaccines. He has some food sensitivities and is currently doing best on 4Health Beef & Potato. He is eager to please and would love to be your buddy!
