Story
Foster notes, 4/30/24:Rocky is extremely calm, loyal, affectionate, and sweet to anyone who he is comfortable around. Once he loves you, he always will. He is very laid back and loves belly rubs and going on walks. He is uncomfortable around strangers and is protective of his people. He also does not play well with other animals. Although he can be defensive and assertive with other people/animals, Rocky is an amazing and loving dog when in the right environment. Rocky is house-trained and is very well-behaved when left alone in the house. He is very calm and never barks. Rocky walks extremely well on the leash, and he knows the commands “sit” and “stay”. Rocky does not do well with other animals and should go to an home with no other pets. I know when the right family gives Rocky a chance, they will absolutely fall in love with him.

Story
Bay is such a sweetheart! She loves the 11-year-old blind Boston Terrier in her foster home and enjoys taking naps with him! She has a gift with other dogs and is great with everyone she meets. She has a solid foundation of training, walks well on a leash, but loves the opportunity to run through the woods! Her recall skills are also good, so not to worry, she won't get lost! Shes friendly with people, but tries to "herd" by barking at young kids (as any typical Aussie would!), so a home with older kids would be best. Bay is totally potty-trained and crate trained although she rarely uses a crate in her foster home because she is so well-mannered. Bay loves her toys, especially the floppy, soft ones that she can shake! Since she likes to herd, she is always making sure the anyone in the room in accounted for and on hikes if someone falls behind, she will be there to make sure they catch up! She has the cutest "smile" that she saves for those she loves the most, where she curls her lips up to show her teeth. She especially loves to have her belly rubbed and will smile a lot for that! Bay can't wait to find her perfect family and start making memories and enjoying life together!

Story
We got Mikasa as a puppy from a breeder, she’s about to be 3 years old. When we got her, we had one older child but then had a newborn a little over a year after bringing her home. She is one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever been around, but has a LOT of energy. We couldn’t keep her inside anymore because of the baby. We have a very small backyard and Mikasa quickly outgrew it. She needs a larger space to roam and run! We have another Aussie older than her (they get along great) who is experiencing some arthritis issues and needs to be inside more. We don’t think it’s fair to them both to have one in and one out. This isn’t something we want to do but we do need to…it will be a very sad day for our family when and if she leaves, but we’ll be happy knowing she’s going to go to another loving family.

Story
Peanut is a very active and playful dog.He is 3 years old and loves to be the center of attention, especially around other dogs. He typically gets a long with most dogs but does like to challenge dogs bigger than him, mainly pit bulls. Unfortunately, he was attacked by one and still may need surgery, that I can not afford. I want peanut to have a loving home. One that can give him the time and love that he deserves. Someone who has patience because he can be a handful at times.

Story
I adopted Lola and her sister from a friend at 6 months old; they were the last two pups of the litter. Lola is almost 1 yr old. She will probably not be >45lbs. She will avoid going potty in her crate. She is still young so it is important to give her enough potty breaks to avoid house accidents. She is very smart and picks up on new tricks very quickly. She knows basics like sit, down, stay, bed, shake (her favorite) and is beginning to learn to heel and center. She is very cuddly and eager to please for a treat! She loves food, especially cheese and peanut butter. Lola does well with people and dogs, but tends to not do as well with small dogs. She loves attention and can get jealous so she would be better off as an only dog. Overall, she is a very sweet pupper and just wants to play with balls, be outside, and receive affection. She has a lot of energy. I cannot keep her bc I now work long days and don’t have the time/space to play with her as much as she deserves.

Story
This is Hagen. Born with a heart on his nose, Hagen is a fluffy boy who isn’t afraid of much. He spends a lot of time chasing and pouncing on squeaky balls and plush toys, but you can tell what he really wants is to play with the big dogs.  Hagen also loves human attention, accumulating numerous pets and relishing just being held when he wears himself out. He has a strong voice and is a protector to his smaller siblings.  Because he is so young, he has not had any experiences with cats, but he plays well with other dogs (of all sizes) and children – though beware, his tiny little puppy claws and teeth are still very sharp and he’s still learning how to not nibble on everything. Hagen is ready to learn and grow into a loving and loyal member of your family. Please reach out to us today if you're ready to open your heart and home to this loving pup. Don't miss the chance to welcome this happy little boy into your life – adopt Hagen today! ##1938383##
