Story
Dog's Name: Chassis Gender: Female Current Age: 3 years old Current Weight: 50 lbs Breed: Australian Shepherd Energy Level: Medium Dog Friendly: Prefere to be your only dog Cat Friendly: NA Kids: No Apartment Friendly: No Fence Requirements:  Preferred so she can get those laps in Crate Trained: Yes Potty Trained: Yes Ideal Home / Adopter: Chassis would thrive with an adopter who appreciates her smart, loyal Aussie personality (and maybe herding habits) and will enjoy keeping her engaged while giving her all the love she deserves. She is super food motivated so training will be a breeze. Likes: Chassis’ favorite song on Olivia Rodrigo’s latest album is definitely honeybee. Coincidentally, that’s also her favorite Blake Shelton song. In lieu of a herd of sheep, this girl goes Gaga for bees. Dislikes: storms are a hard no for her and she appreciates the safety of her crate during bad weather, who can blame her! Chassis is a smart, loving Aussie girl with a soft spot for flowers, bees, and being wherever her people are! This medium-energy sweetheart is potty and crate trained, knows basic commands, and is always ready to learn when treats are involved. She’s dog selective and has some herding dog tendencies, but with her loyal personality and love for adventure, Chassis is ready to buzz right into her forever home. All adoption fees include spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea prevention, and current heartworm prevention. Dogs over six months of age are heartworm tested prior to adoption. If you're interested in adopting, please complete an application at rescuedohio.org. Once approved, a meet-and-greet can be scheduled. ##2677186##

Story
Dog's Name: Willow Gender: Female Current Age: 1 to 2 years Current Weight: 35 lbs Breed: Australian Shepherd/Husky Energy Level: Medium-High Dog Friendly: Yes, and can have other dogs in the home or can be an only dog. Cat Friendly: Unknown Kids: Yes, any age Apartment Friendly: No Fence Requirements: Physical fence preferred but not required with regular walks/exercise. Crate Trained: No, but working on it Potty Trained: Not fully potty trained, working on it Ideal Home / Adopter: Someone with time and patience to stimulate her and get her exercise. She can probably thrive in most homes but needs her energy burned off.  She has a bark that will turn into a Husky howl, and she’s not afraid to use it, so appreciation for her singing voice is a must.  Likes: Affectionate, kisses, cuddles, walks, treats, peanut butter, and fancy wet food. She likes walks but is a little intimidated outside. Dislikes: Does not like being left alone in a crate but is getting better. For her safety, she will require a heavy-duty crate. She startles easily.  Very sweet and affectionate, Willow is learning the ropes of being a house dog and picking things up quickly. She’s smart, beautiful with her golden locks, and full of personality, with plenty of kisses to share. She can be a little vocal when left alone, but otherwise she’s fairly quiet and happy to soak up attention and cuddles. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, deworming, and the dog will be current on flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative. ##2803060##

Story
After a rough start to life, these Aussie mix puppies are thriving in their foster home. They were dumped in rural Mississippi and found by a caring FedEx driver as they huddled on a trash pile on the side of the road. Now they have learned to trust people and love to play and snuggle. They will be ready for forever homes after 3/6. They are located in Memphis, but can be transported to the Midwest, Colorado and the Northeast for an additional fee.

Story
Murphy came in with his brother Mack. Both are sweet, loving, mid- to high-energy boys. Murphy started out more independent than his brother and still probably is a bit, but he also seeks out attention from time to time and can be very affectionate. Murphy looks more like pure Aussie than his brother, but he may still be mixed. We'd love Murphy and Mack to be adopted together. They are bonded and thrive in each other's company and the company of other dogs. A physically fenced yard is required. Murphy is available for adoption in Ohio to residents of Ohio. Story
Mack came in with his brother Murphy. Both are sweet, loving, mid- to high-energy boys. Mack has been just about the sweetest boy ever from moment one—extremely affectionate and just loves giving you big Mack hugs. He loves when you let him be a Velcro dog, but don’t get the wrong idea—when you need your own space, he is very good about not being pushy about it. Mack’s brother Murphy looks more like pure Aussie, but we’re pretty sure that’s Mack’s mix as well. We'd love Mack and Murphy to be adopted together. They are bonded and thrive in each other's company and the company of other dogs. A physically fenced yard is required. Mack is available for adoption in Ohio to residents of Ohio.
