Story
Remus arrived as stray.  He is about 65 lbs, super friendly, loves people and going for walks.  He reacts ok to other dogs through the gates and fence.  We do suggest that if you have other dogs he meet them before a decision is made for his adoption.   As part of his adoption he will be neutered, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Anyone interested in him must stop in to meet him and complete an application during our regular business hours (our application is not online).   Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt. Story
Please contact Jetta (Jetta.elliott@att.net) for more information about this pet.1 1/2 year old Male AussieDoodleBeau is an energetic boy who very much has Australian Shepherd Characteristics who loves running in my fields, playing hide-and-seek, and going for walks. He is good with other dogs. He loves chasing cats, but he runs from cats who chase him. I have a very mean cat in my house and he just runs from her. I would assume that makes him safe with cats. He has the most gorgeous wavy but not curly coat. He does not seem to shed one bit! Super soft and fluffy coat. He is a gorgeous dog. He is going on two years old. he is currently in Arkansas And is brought to your location through the rescue network transport. The adoption flea it does include the transport fee so there’s no additional fees. If you email me, I have plenty of photographs and videos of Beau. July 21, 2024, 4:39 pm

Story
Meet Ginny our resident super mutt!! While we aren't sure of her exact breeds, we were told she is part Australian Shepherd. All we do know is she is the sweetest girl, weighs in at 35lbs and is around 8 months old! She had a rough start to life being a puppy mill survivor and being Lyme + but after lots of TLC and patience, she has started to show what a great dog she can be !   Ginny has just finished our prison training program and is ready to find her furever home! She would do best in a home with other dogs and cats should be fine (although we haven’t officially tested her). She will absolutely need a fenced in yard due to her being nervous in new situations . With patient owners, Ginny will open up and show all the love and affection. She loves attention from those she trusts! Ginny would be okay in a home with older kids as long as they give her some time to adjust. She has been in our training program for a few weeks now and ready for her first ever home/family!   Ginny is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and HW negative. She is also crate trained, potty trained and has a good understanding of basic commands. If you think this beautiful girl would be a good fit for your family, please apply at www.prodogsohio.org/adoptables   Her adoption fee is $350  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We appreciate your support, in order to help us continue to rescue dogs! Donations can be made via our PayPal account - info@prodogsohio.org. You must be willing to commute to the location that the pet is being fostered in order to be eligible to adopt. We do not ship our pets. We also require that you personally bring the pet back to us should the adoption not work out.   We do NOT negotiate adoption fees. All money goes to support our rescue operation. We are 100% volunteered based. We require your current dog(s) to be current on vaccines and heartworm prevention.  Apply online at www.prodogsohio.org, under the Adoptables tab. Due to the volume of apps and inquiries, we may not be able to respond to everyone.July 18, 2024, 12:09 am
