What can be said about this pint sized Mini Aussie named RANGER? Plenty, actually. RANGER arrived at the Harrison County Dog Pound in Cadiz, OH last week. His family never came for him, so he’s now available for adoption. RANGER has the sweetest silliest personality and a zest for life. When he’s especially happy, his butt wiggles and he’ll launch himself with all 4 feet off the ground. Did we mention his short legs? They come with advantages. Not for him, but for you. There won’t be counter surfing unless someone provides a chair. There won’t be dumpster diving unless someone provides a ladder. Poor RANGER is vertically challenged. When he first got to the pound, RANGER was afraid to walk through the door. We figured it was because he was probably an outside dog. Now, however, he walks in like he owns the place and signs paychecks. RANGER has two favorite activities. The first is to play, especially with kids. At about 2 years old, RANGER is a kid too and he loves to be with other kids. His other favorite activity is chasing cats. Is RANGER herding them as his breed might suggest or is he all about the thrill of the chase? Only RANGER knows, but many a cat has ended up a tree. In fact, the house where he liked to visit had kids, cats, and trees. RANGER is looking for a family to call his own. If there are kids, that’s even better. Story
Moose is an older Australian shepherd/boarder collie. He is a very lovable and a great companion. Moose is VERY anxious and does not do well with new people, fast movements with new people. He is food aggressive with other dogs but also food focused with reward. The reason we need to rehome is my wife and I are expecting and given his age, and time we have to adjust, we dont think we can give him the success he needs. Truly, he is an incredible guard dog that ive had since he was a young pup. This decision is not an easy one but truly he will be incredible anyone that has the time.

I got Cooper 2 yrs ago in ohio from a new breader. Cooper was 12 to 16 weeks old when we got him.Unfortunately my fathers demenia got worse n he started giving dog table food. My grandaughter tried to take the food away from Cooper knowing my dad was not supposed to feed him human food and Cooper bit her. So due to this im rehoming him. In addition I believe he would be very happy on a farm this is a very active dog must beable to take on frequent walks or have him as a working dog . Cooper is very protective. Does well with other dogs . He also does well with our gueina pig. Loves to play with his toys. Good woth kids as long as food is not around. Cooper is a big lover, always wanting to give everyone kisses. If playing catch with Cooper he will retrieve what you throw but wants you to chase him around. He has had a personal trainer but not everyone in the house followed the training so not all of his training has worked d/t others not following what trainer said.

Loki is 11 to 12 months old. We acquired him from a family who didn't want him when he was about 5 months old. He has high energy and loves to play. He gets along with all animals and people. He is very loving and also likes to cuddle. We just don't have the room in our apartment for him. He needs somewhere he can get out his energy and play. We also work odd, long schedules and its not fair for him to be in a cage so much.

 Jax is a 24 lb mini-Aussie neutered male. Jax was returned from adoptable home after 2 months because he was guarding the mom from the dad. Jax nipped at the husband multiple times. Always great and friendly with the mom and children. Therefore we are seeking a single female home or a family with really good herding dog experience. Jax has strict boundaries in the foster home and is very friendly to the dad here. He does not pay attention to most of our dogs. Not playful with them but goes out with them.
