Story
Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $200 (in TX)

Story
Meet Tiger ❤️ Tiger is a stunning 2-year-old purebred Australian Shepherd with a big personality, a bigger heart, and absolutely no idea that he’s no longer a puppy. At around 60 pounds, Tiger is larger than your average Australian Shepherd, but don’t tell him that. He still believes he’s lap-sized and would happily climb into your lap during a car ride if given the chance. His enthusiasm for life is impossible to miss, and he approaches every day with excitement, curiosity, and boundless energy. Tiger is an affectionate, loving boy who is looking for an active family that understands the needs of working breeds. Australian Shepherds were bred to have a job, and Tiger is no exception. He thrives when he has both physical exercise and mental stimulation, and he’ll need a home committed to helping him channel his energy in positive ways through training, enrichment, and adventure. Like many young Aussies, Tiger is still working on his manners and learning how to be his best self. He’s eager to learn and would love an adopter who enjoys training and wants a dog to grow alongside. Whether it’s hiking, running, agility, learning tricks, or simply being your constant sidekick, Tiger is ready to be involved in whatever life throws your way. Tiger does well with other dogs and would be happiest in a home with medium to large canine companions who can match his size and play style. He is not a fit for a home with cats and can be in a home with kids 11 and up. If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy, a dog who will keep you active, make you laugh, and love you with his whole heart, Tiger may be the perfect addition to your family. Apply to meet Tiger today.

Story
Porter is a sweet, loving 7-year-old, 48# Australian Labradoodle who just wants to be by your side. He’s a total snuggle bug, happiest curled up next to you or following you from room to room. He loves being outside—running, hiking, and exploring off-leash has quickly become his favorite thing. This has been a heartbreaking decision for u . Porter truly deserves a home where he can relax and thrive without that stress. He would do best as the only dog in an active home where he can soak up all the love, enjoy his toys and treats, and be your constant companion. He can be a little anxious at first but warms up quickly and has so much love to give. Porter is crate trained, e-collar trained, knows basic commands, is great with people, and has done well on group walks. He will need a patient, understanding home to help him feel secure. I am crate trained, have lived with two other dogs for the past 3 years, and thrive with consistent exercise and plenty of cuddles on the couch as well. My favorite treats are peanut butter and bananas, and I follow my people around like a shadow.

Story
Luke is one of our three Aussies and they are all from the same litter, he has a brother and a sister. They were born in September 2018. Luke is very hyperactive. He loves to fetch and catch. He will return items to you. It doesn’t like to sit too long to be petted, He’ll get crazy jump around. We always thought of him a Derpy kind of dog. He likes to go for walks. He’s a scheduled dog. He knows when it’s time to eat and sleep. They like sleeping in their crates with the door closed and then we leave them roaming throughout the day and then we let them out for their potty breaks. Unfortunately, these aren’t your average Aussies with a lot of outdoor experience. They do spend a lot of time inside in the air conditioning, but to love the outside when it’s decent outside, my wife has always worried about that they would get to overheated. Just hoping to find somebody who could give them a good rest of their life that due to our family dynamics we were unable to keep them

Story
Sky is the smaller sister of the three and both her brothers have found new homes. She’s very loving, loves walks and will chase after balls but not bring back. She gets timid, from loud noises. Loves cleaning brother Balu’s ears. Sky would really fit in with a family that has another companion. Just hoping to find somebody who could give them a good rest of their life that due to our family dynamics we were unable to keep them

Story
We brought Memphis and his sister home at 5 weeks old because they were in an unsafe environment and not healthy. We took care of them with the intention of finding a new home and became attached. Now that they are a little older we have realized that despite absolutely loving them, they would live a much better life in a different home and separate from each other to avoid littermate syndrome. Memphis is very smart and loving, he really wants to do the right thing and loves learning. He catches on to new concepts quickly but does best with consistent training. He knows simple commands like sit, stay, kennel, does well on a leash, and is crate trained. He has been in a home with our other dog but unsure of how he would do meeting a dog he has never met before. He is very playful and would probably do best with a friend assuming that he would do well meeting a new dog. He has also been in a home with cats and kids of different ages.
