Story
Max is an Aussieler (Miniature Australian Shepherd and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel). He was born 11/08/2025. He is a very well‑behaved dog. He uses the dog door, sleeps through the night, and stays home alone without destroying anything. He loves to fetch at home but does not like to do it at the park. He is still pulling a little bit when going for a walk on the leash, but is good off‑leash in designated areas. He is still a little shy with other people and dogs but always wants to say hello. We went to dog training, and he is following simple commands such as sit, down, come, etc. He is a very loyal dog and follows you all the time. He is also good with our five‑year‑old. Sometimes he grabs my leg with two paws or jumps on me to get attention. He also still has puppy energy, but can work on these with training. We have a busy schedule, and on top of that, we are expecting a new child. We really love him, but feel he deserves a family that can give him more time and attention.

Story
Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $200 (in TX)

Story
Creeper is a sweet 6 year old pup. I’ve owned her for 5 years and adopted her. She is compassionate, energetic, intuitive, intelligent and eager to please. She gets along with most dogs especially younger smaller dogs. She does well at the dog park and lives with two other dogs. She is reactive on a leashes when she sees other dogs because she wants to greet them. She is anxious and constantly alert. She will bark at the TV or blender or sudden movements. She likes meeting new people though can get excited and jump but it is controllable. She is crate trained but does not need it. She roams the house without problems and can be left alone for long periods of time. We are relocating and cannot bring her with us. She is a great family dog, does well with children 5 and older. I’m not sure how she does with younger children.

Story
We got Savannah along with her brother around 5 weeks old from a bad situation. We gave them the vet care they needed and got them healthy. Of course we ended up falling in love with them and the hopes that we would be able to keep them, but we have realized that keeping siblings from the same litter is not ideal and they are the best dogs when separated. Savannah is about a year old now and is a total love. She can be a little shy at first and barks at new dogs, but warms up quickly and is very submissive. She really wants to make you happy and loves to learn. She is very food motivated and loves to play! She would do best with a secure fenced yard and something to keep her busy. She is house trained and crate trained. She loves her kennel and sleep in it at night as we haven't quite trusted her to roam freely unsupervised yet. She knows simple commands like sit, stay, down, kennel, potty, etc. She comes from a home with other dogs, cats, and children of different ages.
