Jake is an incredibly smart and protective dog - he loves his people completely, and will protect your home and yard. As such, he needs a fenced yard or could live in an apartment with an experienced adopter. He would do well with an active person or people who can take him for walks, hikes and other outings. We are looking for a loving, forever home for a super sweet, eager to please, loveable 6mo old Miniature Australian Shepard puppy. He is current on all of his shots and vaccines although he is NOT neutered at this time as the vet recommended waiting until he was 8-10 months before doing so. He knows a few basic commands such as sit, stay, down (as in lay down) and is in the process of learning a few more commands. He is super smart and eager to learn. We will be screening homes carefully and will be very selective as to who he goes home with. Poky is ready for his very own forever home he's only a few months old and already doing really well with potty training. He's allowed to free roam with our Dogs when we aren't home, he uses pee pads while we are at work and uses the doggie door when we are home. We would love a fur sibling to tire him out. He's very food motivated and could easily be trained by someone who knows what they're doing (not us) and he would prefer to sleep with you as he is not a fan of the crate. I'm especially attached to this little guy since we are the ones who found him he's gonna be a big boy and he will make any family really happy. Hi, meet the most unique stunning dog around, Panda. His coat is so unique and that face, wow! looks like a “panda”? lol. what a handsome boy! He's 1-2yrs old, a very loving sweet boy, yet still seems quite cautious about his surroundings after spending a month at doggie jail. Thanks to his heartless owner. Panda needs time and a safe cozy home environment to decompress and getting the confident happy himself back. He also has a nubby tail. The poor boy was dumped by his owner to a highkill shelter due to the same old “no time” reason, and was about to be euthanized for space. Every dog deserves 2nd chance we had to save this super unique looking beauty! He can be defensive at first when meeting new dogs, a bit assertive and pushy with no play style, but with proper introduction, Panda actually gets along with most dogs, boy and girls. The gorgeous boy will have heads turning with this cutie pie on your arm! He's neutered, vaccinated and chipped so he's ready to have an amazing forever home! Get your application in ASAP, Panda is waiting for a real family to love! Currently in Southern California, but can be transported up to northern states, such as Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and other close by states, if a great suitable family is willing to adopt him/her.

Meet Clifford. His road to POOCH was a bit meandering and bumpy. HE’s experienced a lot of different environments in his 11 short months of life. First found as a stray in California, he went into the shelter system, was pulled into a rescue, then went to an adult prison dog program where he was trained for a few months before being adopted to a home in Oregon. His adoptive home did not end up being a good fit through no fault of his own. When Cliff first came to us he was very scared and shut down. We are watching him blossom as he interacts with his doggy friend, Vivienne. The youth are slowly building trust and rapport with him. Cliff is starting to show some interest in toys. He’s got his sit, stay, and down cues dialed, and he walks well on a leash. Characteristics: Shy & nervous at first Gains confidence from his dog friends, especially Vivienne Likes to play with other dogs Does not like hugging THINGS TO BE AWARE OF Has been bounced around from a shelter to a rescue to a prison program in California to an adopted home and now to POOCH. He WILL need time to settle into a new home and know that his life isn’t going to be upended again. Could do really well with another dog in the home to continue to learn from and gain confidence from. He and Vivienne could be good buddies together if you are looking for two dogs.
