Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Tina!Tina is a 6-month-old Mini Australian Shepherd with a heart as soft as her fluffy coat. Rescued from an Amish litter that didn’t find homes, Tina is now discovering what love, comfort, and companionship truly mean. She’s a sweet and gentle soul, submissive with other dogs and respectful of cats. Tina thrives on affection—she lives to be cuddled, brushed, and held close. She’s happiest snuggled up in bed with her people and is still learning to be okay with her crate (but she’ll tell you she much prefers your lap!). Like any pup, Tina gets the occasional case of the zoomies, reminding you she’s still got that playful puppy spirit. She’s working on her housetraining and making great progress with continued routine and patience. Tina would do best in a calm, loving home that will continue to build her confidence and spoil her with the affection she craves. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow with soft eyes and a gentle heart, Tina might just be your perfect match.   Tina will be available for adoption after she is spayed.   She will be up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. She’s incredibly playful and would thrive in a home with another friendly dog that she can learn from and bond with. Tracy is a total lapdog who loves nothing more than cuddling up after a good play session. Her favorite toy? A tennis ball, of course! She’s making great strides with house training and sleeps soundly through the night in her crate like a champ. Story
It’s obvious that Chet has STAR quality! Not only is he the most handsome guy around, but he is also a very affectionate dog and he is very smart. He went to puppy school as a youngster and learned his basic commands. He being on the receiving end of his human’s attention, snuggling with them on the couch, sleeping in the bed with them and he always gives kisses freely. He’s a lot of fun too… loves to play with toys, and if you’ll throw them, he will catch and retrieve balls and frisbees. Chet is a fairly quiet and a little shy, he doesn’t like a lot of commotion around him and as was stated before, he want’s all of his human’s attention for himself. He has always lived inside and is protective of his house. That being said, he needs to be in more of a quiet, calm home and he needs to be the only dog in the home. He gets along with other dogs as long as they are laid back/submissive, but prefers not to live with them. He hasn’t been around little kids, but would be fine around older kids that would respect him and treat him with kindness. Chet will make a wonderful companion for a quiet, laid back family! He is three years old (dob 11/9/21) and weighs 40-45 pounds, has been neutered, micro-chipped, 4DX heartworm tested, fecal tested, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400. Chet is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Figment and his brother Pixel came into rescue a week ago. Area residents confirmed that they were dumped in a remote area, and they stayed there for a week, so sure that their owner would come back for them. Of course they didn't. Pixel and Figment were finally brought to us after being on their own for a week. They were hot, exhausted, and confused. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a foster for them, so our only choice was to put them in a pen outside. They are doing ok but they need to be in homes, out of the extreme heat. Figment is the more outgoing of the 2. He is very sweet and loving, and he loves belly rubs! We believe he is an Australian Shepherd/Poodle mix (Aussie Doodle.) He is about 6 months old and weighs 38 lbs. He will probably be 45-50lbs once fully mature. He is heartworm negative, on prevention, vaccinated, and neutered. He is good with other dogs. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.7/13 Still available! 5/10 Jak was rescued off the streets back in the coldest part of winter. His owner never came forward to claim him. Jake is a really fun, energetic boy who gets along well with all the other dogs he has encountered. He hasn't been around cats but may be a little too energetic for them, unless the home was set up to provide escape routes for the cats, where they can safely take breaks from him. We don't believe he would try to hurt one but he thinks everyone wants to play like he does. Jak is a young adult, probably 2-3 years old, and we believe he is an Australian Shepherd mix. He has not exhibited herding tendencies, but he is very agile- he can climb anything! See the last photo for proof. Jak would excel in agility training. He is also very affectionate and good natured, he just sees the world as one big playground. He is good with kids, house trained, crate trained, and knows a few basic commands. He is fully vetted. He's ready to find his forever family!Located in Arkansas, but transport is available.
