Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Dino, a high-energy, wiggly, and eager-to-please Australian Shepherd mix with a sleek black coat. At just over a year old and weighing 50 lbs, he's always ready for fun and affection. His whole body wiggles with excitement, right down to his little nub tail, and he absolutely loves flopping over for belly rubs. He knows how to sit and will go into his crate for a treat. Being food-motivated, he’s eager to learn more commands. Housetrained, he does well with both a fenced yard and leash walks. While he doesn’t love the crate, he settles in and sleeps when needed. Dino enjoys playing fetch, running with other dogs, and getting as much attention and petting as possible. He prefers not to be left alone but simply expresses this by barking. He has a big, loud bark and he does like to talk at times. He also has a happy voice when he's excited and getting belly rubs. Dino gets along well with other dogs, is polite to cats, and has been reported to do well with kids. He takes a few minutes to warm up to new people, but quickly becomes a lovebug. On leash, he’s still learning manners but enjoys his walks. He rides fine in the car but may need a little help getting in. Dino would thrive in an active home where he gets plenty of exercise and, ideally, has a dog friend to play with. Interested in bringing Dino into your heart and home? THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. June 8, 2025, 10:53 pm

Story
This is Blue Eyed Lola and she came to our rescue as a very starved nursing momma dog with 6 puppies draining her daily while nursing.  She had been a stray with no food provided for her as she tried to keep her babies alive.  She has now put back on her weight and a tad more than needed but she is safe and loved and trying to find her new family to love.  She is a timid but extremely calm girl that is an Aussie mix with the prettiest blue eyes.  She just wants to belong to someone and her foster mom is so touched by her sweet soul and how she tries to almost be invisible in life and not be a problem.  She needs some confidence building and some training that will make her feel smart!  She is good with other dogs and very submissive to them.  She is just fine with cats and almost completely housebroken.  We love our little Blue Eyed Lola and want the rest of her life to be easy and for her to a treasured part of someone’s family or even a single person’s BFF.  She is great on a leash and rides very well in a car.  She is ready to explore life with someone that wants her to come along.  Lola will be forever grateful to have a chance to love you.  Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested.  Let us know where you live:  city and state. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 29, 2025, 10:45 pm

Story
&#239&#184&#143 Meet Mother Goose – A Gentle Soul Ready to Fly Free2 Years Old | ~50 lbs  Pure| Australian Shepherd  | Fostered in Nashville, TN   After giving everything she had to raise ten beautiful puppies, Mother Goose is finally ready for something she’s never truly had—a loving home just for her. Found as a pregnant stray, likely having escaped a life of hardship (possibly from an Amish breeding operation), this sweet girl has endured more than we’ll ever know… yet she greets the world with gentleness, grace, and quiet trust.   Mother Goose gave birth to her pups on March 17th under the loving care of our rescue, and she’s been nothing short of amazing. Calm, kind, and devoted, she watched over her babies with the wisdom of a soul who’s known struggle—but never gave up on love. Now that her puppies are growing and being adopted, it’s finally her turn to be the one cared for, cherished, and chosen.   She’s about 50 pounds, around 2 years old, and carries the striking, intelligent traits of an Australian Shepherd mix. Her temperament is a dream—gentle with other dogs, affectionate with people, and the kind of dog who brings peace and comfort just by being nearby. She hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but we’re happy to explore that for the right potential home.   We believe Mother Goose deserves the kind of life that matches the love she gives: quiet mornings in a safe home, walks with someone she trusts, and soft beds where she can rest her head without worry. Whether you're an experienced Aussie lover or simply someone who understands the beauty of a resilient, gentle dog, you’ll find something truly special in her.   Mother Goose is being fostered in Nashville, Tennessee, and is available to homes both in-state and across the Northeastern U.S. via our trusted weekend transport.   If you feel that pull in your heart, please email ccrtennessee@gmail.com to request an adoption form—and be sure to tell us where you're located.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 7, 2025, 12:30 pm

Story
Meet Kylie – The Sweet, Gentle Explorer!  Born April 13, 2025 | 8 Weeks Old | &#226&#154&#150&#239&#184&#143 8 lbs (as of 6/6) Available for Adoption through Critter Calvary Rescue  Say hello to Kylie, a stunning 8-week-old Aussie mix boy whose name means boomerang — and trust us, once you meet him, he’ll come back to your heart again and again. With his beautiful green eyes, soft coat, and the most charming little mustache markings you’ve ever seen, Kylie is one of those puppies you can’t help but fall for. But Kylie isn’t just a pretty face — he has a calm, sweet spirit that sets him apart. While he enjoys affection, he’s more independent than his siblings and doesn’t compete for attention. He’s content to quietly observe, explore the world at his own pace, and come to you when he’s ready for some love. His gentle nature makes him a perfect match for families who appreciate a balanced, respectful companion — one who enjoys being near you but doesn’t demand constant attention. Kylie is playful and curious, always up for a little adventure or a romp around the yard. He’s brave, smart, and already showing signs of the classic Aussie intelligence and loyalty that make the breed such a favorite for active and loving homes. Whether you’re looking for a hiking buddy, a thoughtful best friend for your kids, or just a sweet pup to grow up alongside your family, Kylie has everything it takes to be the perfect fit. He’s the kind of dog that will quietly follow you from room to room, always close — just not clingy.  Think Kylie might be your forever pup? Reach out to ccrnewengland@gmail.com to learn more or set up a time to meet him. Your loyal little boomerang is waiting to find his way home.
