Looking for the right home for Ace Ace joined our family when my daughter adopted him while I was on vacation. He had been living with a young couple who had recently welcomed their second child. We don’t know why they rehomed him, but we’ve learned that Ace needs more time, exercise, and stimulation than our busy household can give him.Ace is a smart dog who learns quickly and is very good at solving puzzles—especially puzzles involving the garbage can. He has figured out how to move chairs, remove covers, and open cabinets and gates. We’ve had to get creative to stay one step ahead of him! He’s a great dog, but when he’s bored, he finds his own entertainment. Ace gets along well with female dogs of all sizes and has been fine with our cat, although the feeling isn’t mutual. He has also been gentle with our two-year-old granddaughter. He does bark quite a bit and can be hard to redirect when another dog is around. Ace has bitten when trying to grab him forceably.

We got Louie back in September 2025 from an owner that stated he was spending too much time in a crate. He turned 4y/o on 1/3/2026. He is a funny dog that just wants to be loved. He would definitely benefit from a yard. We have one & he loves it. He does many commands. Sit, stay, down, paw, wait, get it, find it. He gives hugs. He sometimes doesn't know how big he is. He is about 48lbs & wants to crawl up on you. Does well walking on leash but has some leash reactivity to bikes & squirrels. He definitely wants to be with you at all times. He is crate trained & goes in there when no one is home. That command is "let's go" & he goes right in the crate. Since we have gotten him, he just does not get along with everyone in the household. We thought it would get better but has not.

NEWMAN loves water so if you are a water baby yourself he’s going to love it! At the very least a kiddy pool will be wonderful for him, He is also good with riding in the car, loves to play with other dogs and will initiate it with the other dogs in his foster home, has very good energy. Super smart, he’s already learned the doggy door at his foster home, so he will go outside to use the bathroom, he is learning to not jump up, sometimes his excitement gets the better of him, so maybe older kids would be better, but he’s making great progress and shaping up into a great dog. An active family, that will play with him would be great. He’s AKC registered.

Meet Bailey Girl— All She Needs Is a Chance â¤ï¸ Bailey Girl is a beautiful 27-pound female 18 month old Mini Aussie mix with a story that will break your heart—but the little dog she is becoming will put it right back together. Bailey Girl was abandoned during extremely hot weather when someone placed her inside a school playground with no way to get out. Tragically, she wasn’t discovered until the following Monday when the school reopened. Someone had reportedly witnessed her being left there but did not notify anyone. We may never understand why she was abandoned that way, but we do know one thing: her story does not have to end where it began. Today, Bailey Girl is safe in a loving foster home, and she is doing beautifully. â¤ï¸ It took her only a couple of days to begin trusting her foster, and now she has become her little shadow. She does well with other dogs and cats, walks on a leash, and can even be left loose in the home with the other dogs while her foster is at work. Bailey Girl is still working on becoming completely house trained, but she is extremely intelligent and continues to learn. She enjoys having a yard where she can run and as her confidence and trust have grown, she happily comes back to her foster when called. Because Bailey Girl can be somewhat fearful of children, we believe she would be happiest in a home without children, where she can feel secure and develop a strong bond with her person or family. Bailey may need a little more patience in the beginning than some dogs. You have to earn her trust—but once you do, something very special happens. She begins to understand that she is safe. She follows you. She looks to you for reassurance. And before long, you realize you haven’t just gained a dog—you’ve gained a devoted little sidekick. A word of advice please. Bailey Girl needs someone who won’t expect everything from her on the first day. She needs love, patience, kindness, and time. Give her the opportunity to understand that you aren’t going anywhere, and she will give that love and devotion right back to you. â¤ï¸ Bailey may very well become the dog you talk about for the rest of your life.
