Sandi was given to us from a patient who could not care for her as a puppy at 10 weeks. She is 2 years old, house trained and very loving. She is a miniature shepherd husky. Would be great in open land environment, farm, good with kids! She is playful, energetic and loves cuddles! She is very attentive to your needs and would be a great pet for a family with children and open land for her to play and run! Sandi trained easily and can learn new tricks quickly. She does require undivided attention at times and loves time devoted to her.

Come meet buddy. Buddy is a beautiful red merle Australian Shepherd. He is very energetic boy and will need daily exercise. He likes other dogs but he does have a lot of play energy so we recommend him being with a dog that enjoys roughhousing. He loves toys and would make a fun companion. We do recommend no small children because he is so playful and would knock them over. Visit Richardsonrescue.org for an application.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 1, 2026, 7:05 pm

Story
Meet Daisy! She may be tiny now, but she's full of sweetness and curiosity. Daisy is approximately 8 weeks old (as of 12/15/25) and part of the adorable "Dukes of Hazzard" litter. We believe she may be Australian Shepherd mix; that is our best guess. Daisy has soft white fur with tan markings. She loves cuddles, exploring, and snuggling up for a good nap. If you are looking for a loving little lady to grow up by your side, Daisy might just be your girl! Reach out to us today for more info or an adoption application: NothingMLRescue@gmail.com

Story
Thank you for your interest in dog who needs a new home.  Adoption can be one of the most fulfilling experiences in your life and especially in the life of your new canine companion. A note to those looking at CPR.  We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone.  Our job is to find those someone's.  Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog.  They come to us because they want to give a dog a home.  We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture.  While we like to know what you like in looks, a dog is more than a pretty face.  Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home.  We want to create furever families.  Our descriptions contain all that we know about this dog today.  We'll update as more information is known.  Are you looking to adopt within the next 30 days?  If so please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and complete the application.  You'll find it in the menu on the left hand side.  You'll also find a total listing of all our dogs available.  Just browsing but interested in poodles and poodle mixes?  Please drop a note to applications@carolinapoodlerescue.org with your name, address and phone # and email.  We'll add you to our mailing list. thanks the CPR Adoption team   Date into Rescue: 10/27/2025 Reason for being in rescue: Born into rescue Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? Mercedes is up to date on vaccines for her age and has been dewormed. Mama Zaire was found as a stray, heavily pregnant. She gave birth in the car while being transported to rescue. Our best guess is that she is an Australian Shepherd / Doodle mix. These puppies are not hypoallergenic and will shed. Weight: 8 lbs and growing - we expect Mercedes will be between 75 lbs - 85 lbs when full grown Height: 6 in and growing - we expect Mercedes will be at least 24 in when full grown Spayed/Neutered: No. Mercedes is too young to be spayed. She will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract that requires you to spay her at your cost within 12 months and provide proof of spay Adoption Fee: Donation of your choice - our wish is for this puppy to be in her forever home for the holidays. Fence needed? Yes, Mercedes requires a physically fenced yard with fencing 4 feet or taller. What kind of home would be best for me? Mercedes is looking for a home that either has another large, active dog for play OR has a plan for regular socialization. Regular socialization means scheduled play time a minimum 3 times per week for at least an hour with another young, active dog. Puppies need friends! A person scheduled away from home for no more than 4 hours per day and can provide multiple potty breaks throughout the day and night is a must. She is a baby and needs play breaks as well as frequent and consistent potty times to aid in potty training.  What is my personality like? Mercedes is a young, happy, active puppy. She loves his litter mates, loves to play, and loves toys. Like here mama, sweet Mercedes has beautiful two-toned eyes. One blue and one brown. It's stunning! PUPPY POLICY: Thank you for carefully considering the addition of a puppy to your family. Puppies can be a joyous experience, but they can also be a tremendous amount of work. Since our goal is to place each of our dogs in forever homes, we are especially cautious with puppies. We like to stress 3 major things when considering a puppy vs. an adult dog: 1) many adult dogs are well bred, well trained dogs who find themselves in rescue through no fault of their own, 2) adult dogs are eager to share their love and bond with their new family, and 3) puppies will always require far more time, energy, and training than an adult dog. Our ideal puppy adopters are: -experienced dog owners with a solid record of excellent vet care of their previous pets -scheduled away from home for no more than 4 hours per day and have another canine companion already in the home -stay at home type of people (work at home, home schoolers, retired, etc.) How do I act when I first meet new people? Mercedes is a happy girl who enjoys meeting new friends. Other tips and tidbits: Born into rescue 10/27/2025 House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.  A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs.  If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip.  Most of our dogs are at our farm in Pacolet, South Carolina.   To apply, please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and visit the tab on the left that directions you to the online application. Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home.   You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc.  Others here may be a better fit for you.  It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description.  Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a  dog not in our listings yet.  We want you to be very happy with your new companion and will make suggestions based on what you tell us about you. Thank you for considering CPR. December 15, 2025, 1:31 pm
