Story
We are trying to help this sweet girl called Bonnie Belle to find a home since her elderly parents are in failing health and cannot care for their five dogs.  Bonnie Belle is a mix of some interesting breeds.  We think she has some Aussie and maybe Boxer in her.  The Australian Shepherd trait is what makes her a protector of the yard and home when strangers approach.  She is the home security dog officer!   This girl is losing her home because her elderly parents have fallen into bad health.  Bonnie Belle is 4 years old and weighs a little over 40 pounds.  She adores people and is good with the other dogs that she spends time with in the fenced yard.  She is housebroken, affectionate and a devoted girl to her family.  If you would like to give Bonnie her next forever home, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue who is helping her at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 23, 2024, 4:30 pm

Story
Lora Lee is a very sweet dog that is just 2 years old and weighs 35 pounds.  She is said to be an Aussie mix with some Terrier.  Whatever the mix is we think she is a most unusual and truly a beautiful girl who well with other dogs in her foster home.  She is a friend to all and apparently she is house trained as long as taken out regular. Lola Lee is crate trained but cannot be left for long hours in the crate.  She is not leash trained  but is trying to improve.   We are requesting that applicants have a fenced yard for her because she is an active girl that needs to run and play with freedom and not at the end of a leash only. This beauty loves to cuddle and be by your side like your BFF and shadow. If you have another dog that would be great for her to have a playmate that can help her wear out her energy every day.  Lola Lee is a great girl and she is going to need an active family that can challenge and meet her need for exercise and be able to keep up with her.   She is really not a dog for a retirement couple that are ready to have a more laidback dog with fewer exercise demands.  If you are interested in this girl please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 23, 2024, 4:30 pm

Story
Hello, you lucky people! I know, when you hear the name Bianca you think of Beautiful and of course I am all of that and more.  But even though I am small in stature, but big in personality, I am an adorable force of nature. How big will I be when I grow up? Who knows, but my foster mom says I have enough cuteness and cuddles for any size.I am crate-trained, which is not the same as housebroken, but it means I don’t mind being in my crate and usually keep it clean and dry. I might holler and howl out of protest when you first put me in my crate, but my foster mommy says don’t be fooled. I’ll settle down with a blanket and toy after a little while. When I first go to a new home I will just have to get used to being without my brothers and sisters and get used to my new family. I sleep in my crate at night just fine but with company. I love mealtime and I also love to chase toys. If you get me settled on a blanket next to you, I love a good snuggle time filled with love.I’m ready. Come and get me! Love, Bianca.   Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com     PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com  April 23, 2024, 4:30 pm

Story
Hello World.  My name is Cypress and I am a pretty little Aussie mix puppy who was born on Feb. 4th, 2024 to a litter of 13 puppies.  My momma is a red and white Aussie and she was so brave and raised us all to be healthy and sweet natured. My foster mom says I am a spirited girl puppy that has boundless energy and a love for playtime.  I have learned the fine art of stealing hearts too!  If you watch me for long you will  be rolling in the grass with me laughing and having a gold old time. They say I have the perfect blend of charm and mischief.  I am totally committed to making you  have fun being around me.   I love other dogs and my foster mom has some big ones that I love to hang out with and pretend I am all grown up.  They teach me things too!  I get my intelligence from my Aussie breed influence from my momma.  She has a nice sweet nature that she passed along to all of her pups.   I even figured out the doggie door from the first day that I went to live with my second foster mom when I was 8 weeks old.  She was super impressed because I was so young and really small when I learned.  My future is bright and lying ahead of me with a special wish that I will find a special family that is active and really dedicated to teaching me how to be the best trained dog around. I want to learn, love and lasso your heart!  Write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are ready!  I will be ready the first of May.      PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 23, 2024, 4:30 pm

Story
Still looking for a BETTER place for our 6-Year-Old Black Tri-color Australian Shepherd He is a very smart and cuddly dog who loves to play fetch. We are heartbroken to even consider rehoming him, but his reactivity has turned into aggression because he is in the wrong environment (trucks, bikes, kids, strollers&hellip). He bit my husband 2 years ago (severe bite) because he was trying to keep him away from biting our other dog. We went to many trainers and a certified behavior specialist who strongly advised against keeping him or even euthanizing him because he can’t be trusted around children. If there is anyone in a remote area without children, male dogs or cats please reach out.

Introducing Dante! This handsome boy loves his people more than anything. He is fearful when meeting people he doesn't know but warms up quickly with a proper introduction. Dante thrives best in a structured environment with good leadership & dog knowledgeable humans. He loves playing with other dogs but would also be happy as an only dog. Dante will do best in a home with a fenced yard & people who are home more often than not. Older kids are always best for an Australian Shepherd mix & Dante appreciates gentle handling best. Story
.These two little sisters were found by the side of the road and rescued by a kind couple. They are about 5 months old and weigh 30 lbs each. Taylor has a white face; Kelsey a black face. They are very friendly and affectionate, playful and energetic. They ride well in the car. They have been taken to restaurants and react very positively when people come up to exclaim about how beautiful they are. They get along fine with other dogs and love people. They met a cat and were curious, but not hostile. They have had their first shots and have an appointment to be spayed. Contact Nancy Foltz at NEFoltz@Yahoo.com or 704-616-4904 for more information.

Story
16-month old male. He came to us as an 8 week old, injured stray, although we were able to track down his origins to confirm parentage, the owners did not want him back. He is very healthy now. He knows basic commands of sit, down, heel, come, and stay and is a total ball of energy who sometimes struggles to heed commands. He is a very happy boy who needs a lot of room to run. He is house broken to the crate and the laundry room. He is approximately 60 lbs and largely does well with other animals, but has been noted to be possessive of toys and food at times so if around other dogs children we have separated. He will chase our chickens and cats sometimes but has never attempted to harm them. The vet has recommended he remain intact until 18-24 months of age to prevent bone/joint/cancer problems in the future.

Story
Meet Murphy, our adorable little Border Collie Mix boy puppy who was rescued from a small town shelter where he was under weight and riddled with internal parasites.  His future was very bleak but now Murphy has been treated and is a healthy, happy little guy free of parasites and gaining weight like a puppy should.  Born around November 1st, he is approximately 10 weeks old (as of Jan 5th) and weighs 12 pounds.  He is expected to reach around 40 pounds as an adult.  He is friendly with all humans (toddlers included), dogs and cats that he has been in contact with.  Murphy is curious, playful and very loveable and is quite the talker.  Murphy seems to be the most curious of his siblings.  His foster mom believes he is mixed with many different breeds that are smart and inquisitive.  If you are interested please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 23, 2024, 4:30 pm
