Please contact foster parent at cltdogfostermom@gmail.com-around a year old and 40 lbs, but she can stand to gain about 5+ pounds! -working on crate training, but I think she’d be fine being left out in a room or living room. Will test for short periods of time when I get my new doggy camera in. -Sleeps through the night in her crate after taking a few minutes to settle down. -Dog friendly with male dogs but needs a very slow intro with female dogs-Very people friendly-seems to be house trained! No accidents aside from one excitement poop when she first got here! -No food or toy aggression-pulls on the leash ever so slightly, but I truly believe that’s because she overstimulated with all the new smells and her new environment. Takes corrections very easily! -she is the sweetest and most gentle angel!-great work from home partner! She will take a nap right next to you or entertain herself with toys while you work.

Story
Introducing Dante! This handsome boy loves his people more than anything. He is fearful when meeting people he doesn't know but warms up quickly with a proper introduction. Dante thrives best in a structured environment with good leadership & dog knowledgeable humans. He loves playing with other dogs but would also be happy as an only dog. Dante will do best in a home with a fenced yard & people who are home more often than not. Older kids are always best for an Australian Shepherd mix & Dante appreciates gentle handling best. Story
Margot is a pure bred miniature australian sheperd (no papers) weighing 28 pounds. We adopted her almost 2 years ago. She turns six on August 5th. Margot has gone through an intense training program and knows ALL of her commands (Research Dog Wizard - Charlotte). She was trained on an e-collar system(Will give you all components of system). We have lots of pets. Margot is obsessed with herding them and keeping them out of the house. She is a perfect dog as long as the house is quiet and there is not a lot of company. The only time she has shown aggression is when food/treats are involved. She gets anxious when lots of people are around and we end up boarding her if we have a lot of company. She definitely LOVES females. She will bark at males whenever they enter a room. She is not aggressive just vocal. She is the BEST companion. She needs an alpha owner. Margot likes to be in charge. My husband and I are soft on pet discipline and this does not work well with this breed.

Story
Gracie she is a super adorable, friendly dog, loves to play and has her moments of being quiet . She does not like small dogs, she relates well to large dogs and medium size. She is a loyal dog and watch the house. I suggest that she is adopted by a family who has a dog experience because she suffers from anxiety.

Story
We are trying to help this sweet girl called Bonnie Belle to find a home since her elderly parents are in failing health and cannot care for their five dogs.  Bonnie Belle is a mix of some interesting breeds.  We think she has some Aussie and maybe Boxer in her.  The Australian Shepherd trait is what makes her a protector of the yard and home when strangers approach.  She is the home security dog officer!   This girl is losing her home because her elderly parents have fallen into bad health.  Bonnie Belle is 4 years old and weighs a little over 40 pounds.  She adores people and is good with the other dogs that she spends time with in the fenced yard.  She is housebroken, affectionate and a devoted girl to her family.  If you would like to give Bonnie her next forever home, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue who is helping her at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 23, 2024, 4:30 pm
