He's very receptive to guidance and extremely eager to learn how to be loves. This is literally his second chance at life, and he knows it. He's great with cats, kids, piles of puppies, and his dozen foster homies. He plays great, learned hand signals for guidance, and is extremely intelligent. Dash doesn't chew up the household goods and walks great on a leash. He would do best with a buddy because a tired dog is the greatest kind of dog. He would also be great someone active if he was an only dog. If it wasn't for rescue, he wouldn't have had a chance to know how to love and have the opportunity to meet his forever family. Birdie is about 4 years old and 67 pounds. This beautiful girl is fully housetrained. Birdie is the ultimate “Velcro dog”—she wants nothing more than to be by your side during the day and curled at the foot of your bed at night. With her kind eyes, affectionate nature, and eagerness to please, she quickly wins hearts wherever she goes. At just the right mix of smart and spirited, Birdie thrives on both love and activity. She has a high energy level, but her exercise needs can be met with a couple of good outings a day. She’s incredibly intelligent, already knowing sit, shake, lay down, roll over, stay, and even recall. She can run a basic agility course and is always eager to learn new tricks, especially if it means quality time with her person. Despite her energy, she also knows how to settle down and will happily rest at your feet after a good day’s play.
