Annie was abandoned at my rescue door step. She was covered in ticks and matted fur but was so sweet. After getting her cleaned up and healthy she is ready for her forever home. She is a herding dog and has LOTS of energy! She would do well in an active household. Annie loves kids and people but she can be dog selective and I would NOT recommend a home with smaller pets. Annie is very intelligent and eager to please. I beleive she is purebred but we have not had her embarked.

Mallie Mae has been with us since 2020 and has been a great dog a lot of personality very energetic and wants lots of love. Very protective and only barks if she senses something is off. She can jump a 6 foot fence and where we are moving we can only have a short fence and she prefers to stay outside / in garage which is where she has stayed just to protect her from our newborn children.

**Do not apply without reading Bandito's whole post!** This is Bandito, a 1.5 year old purebred Miniature Australian Shepherd. Bandito was surrendered to the rescue when his owners bought another dog and didn't have time for him. He had never seen a vet before either. However, Bandito is a very well behaved boy who is doing well in his foster home. He is hesitant of larger dogs at first but NEEDS a dog companion to play with- someone close to his own size and age would be preferred. So far he has done okay with the cats in his foster home but does tend to chase them. We would recommend a home without cats as we don't know if this behavior will escalate. He does great with small children and is very gentle and patient. These breeds of dogs are known to have excess energy and the need for a job. He REQUIRES an active family. Bandito is not great on leash yet but is ok with learning the routine. He is NOT yet house trained and will mark. His foster is using belly bands to help train him. He will need to be groomed regularly or brushed often at home. Bandito is looking for a home with: -other dogs his size -no cats -children ok -an active family -a grooming routine Our adoptions are done by BEST FIT and not first come, first serve. Bandito's happiness is a priority and we do expect all of this criteria to be met in order to approve an adoption so do not apply if you can not provide these for him.
