Story
I adopted Oliver from a breeder in Georgia in 2020. His papers say he is a mini Aussie. However, he is a 55 pound bundle of energy. Oliver enjoys sitting in my lap while I have my morning coffee, and is a great companion for snuggling up and watching movies. He loves to play fetch and tug-of-war, and take long walks. He loves to play with other dogs, as well. Due to an injury and and unpredictable work schedule, I cannot ensure Oliver gets the exercise he needs. He loves visiting the farm I grew up on in Kentucky, where he gets to run all day. My yard is not big enough for him to do this, and with my physical limitations, I cannot with any regularity, take him on long walks every day. Oliver would thrive in a home that has a large yard or on a farm. He is somewhat food, aggressive, and would do best in a home where there are not small children. Oliver has been my constant companion for 5 years, and I love him dearly. The decision to rehome him is heartbreaking, but necessary.

Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Waynesville, NC *This dog doesn’t belong to ASF and hasn’t been evaluated by ASF.* Meet Oliver Hamish! He is an 5 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 55 lbs. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Oliver Hamish is good with older children! No younger children, because they make him nervous. He is good with the other dogs inside of the home, but is nervous around dogs outside of the home. He has bitten 3 times when someone was around his food. He has food aggression. The owner is surrendering him because of the bite incidents. They are also unable to provide the time and attention that he needs. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Oliver Hamish, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Oliver Hamish. Story
Sadie was purchased at a flea market named Pendergrass Flea Market (La vaquita) in Pendergrass, GA. She was a little puppy when we got her for $250. We managed to get her a few shots, but I lost the paperwork to them when I moved. I've been working more lately and don't have a lot of time to play with her as much as I used to. She is very kind with kids and other animals, she just needs to be trained in door if wanting her to be in the house otherwise she would tear things up. She is about 2 years with lots of energy to play.
