Joey is a young Aussie mix who was found dumped in a neighborhood in Magnolia. After many attempts to find his owner came up empty, we decided to take him into our pack and try to find him a better home than what he had before. Since being with us, we've discovered that Joey LOVES toys, is very treat motivated, and that he more than anything wants to be a lap dog! Joey is super cuddly and loves to play with other dogs. He is dog, cat, and kid friendly and would make a great family dog. Joey has some separation anxiety in the crate but is making great strides with it. He does well when he is crated with a treat puzzle to keep him occupied. He walks well on a leash and likes to take things fast paced, so a running partner would be great for him.If you're looking for an active, friendly, loyal pup, Joey is the perfect fit for that role!Joey is around 3 years old, 35lbs, neutered, fully vaccinated, and heartworm negative.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Phoenix was purchased at a Farmers Market as a puppy and grew to be bigger than they thought she would (though she's only medium-sized at 37 lb).  Her outside space was only 5' X 5' in her first home and that was just not enough.  Since she did not have much outdoor play room as a puppy, Phoenix would love a new home with a large backyard where she could play and run.    Phoenix quickly bonds with anyone who will offer her some time and attention.  She loves to play with toys and people, but easily amuses herself when alone.  Phoenix gets along fine with other dogs, both small and large, but she hasn't been around cats in her foster home.  She welcomed petting from all the kids at our last Conroe Petco adoption event and we think she would do well in a home with children.  Phoenix is house and crate trained and progressing with basic commands and leash training.As with all our rescue dogs, Phoenix has been spayed and is up to date on her vaccinations, worming, heartworm prevention and flea control. Her adoption fee of $100 includes a lifetime microchip registration with HomeAgain. Conroe floor projectI’m Buck! A 3-year-old Australian Shepherd Mix of approximately 50 pounds. I’ve been told I have a warm heart, I’m just looking for the right home to give it to! I fall in love with people quickly and love to be around his humans. I am obsessed with pets, especially belly rubs. I love playing fetch, and constantly crave peanut butter! I am potty and crate trained, and even though I am still getting used to my crate, that’s where my peanut butter fix comes to play!   I am a fast learner and friendly to everyone, but I may need some time to warm up. responds quickly to training.
