He can be a little shy with strangers at first, but he warms up quickly, especially when treats are involved! 😉 Calzone absolutely loves other dogs and would do great in a home with a canine friend. He’s still learning his manners and doesn’t quite understand personal boundaries, so another playful, tolerant dog would be a great match for him. When Calzone gets scared, he may bark and try to sound tough, but it’s all an act, he’s a sweetheart. He’s also still working on his potty training and will need a little patience and consistency. With some guidance, treats, and a doggy buddy to show him the ropes, Calzone is going to make a wonderful companion! 🐾❤️ Adoption fee is: $400.00 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. Born on a farm in Myton, UT, he’s adventured with us through Park City, Denver, Dallas, and Spring, TX — loyal every mile of the way. He’s spirited, talkative, and too smart for his own good. His happy place is a long hike, a game of fetch, or wide open space to run free. We’ll be upfront: Cooper is wonderful with adults but can be wary around young children. With a new baby at home and knowing toddler years are ahead, we want to find him a place where he can truly thrive, rather than be in situations that stress him out. We’re looking for someone who can give this sweet, soulful boy the life he was bred for, ideally with some land, and the time to match his energy and intelligence.
