Story
This handsome fellow and his siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Big boy is a gentle boy but does love to run and play with other dogs. Big boy was the largest of the puppies, but his siblings have caught up to him. He has done amazing with his house and crate training. He is so deserving of a wonderful home to call his own. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Freya is a loyal and loving, 2 year old, mixed breed, medium sized dog who's looking for a forever home 🐾❤️. She may take some time to warm up to new people and environments, but once she's comfortable, she's a joy to be around. Freya also loves playing with other dogs of all sizes! 🐾🐶. Freya is housetrained and has good indoor manners. She is also obediant and comes when called! Freya has a history of living sucessfully with multiple children but prefers calm to chaos! Don't we all?! Can you can give Freya the stability and life long commitment she yearns for? Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster-based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. Marmaduke is a big goofy lovebug! He adores children and other dogs. He is very curious about cats and chickens and is probably best in a home without those (or where he can be separated from them). He is only about 1 year old and has been in rescue all his life. He had a medical issue as a puppy that required surgery and he is completely healed from that. He will do best in a home with a secure fenced yard, another dog or dogs to play with that are not tiny since he's so big, and respectful animal-loving children that will love him as much as he loves them. Winston is a sweet & friendly Australian Shepherd. He's a house pet & well behaved. But he's looking for a special home with no small children. This is b/c Winston needs to herd something...it's in his blood...and the kids  don't particularly appreciate being herded. Winston loves car rides, to play fetch and to run around and check things out. Pls know that all herding breeds like him have similar needs to work and if they lack a job, they'll make up their own work, which might not be what his family expects him to do. But this breed is highly intelligent and Winston loves to learn new things and is eager to please his people. He gets along with other dogs with proper introductions done.  ##2633591##

Willow is an Australian Shepherd who was born this summer and adopted from a family that breeds this breed. He is a sweet, full-of-love dog with LOTS of energy. He gets along well with other dogs. We are rehoming Willow because my husband and I work a lot and do not have the time to give Willow the attention he deserves. We are hopeful Willow can find a home where he can run around and explore while getting all of his energy out!
