Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Dino, a high-energy, wiggly, and eager-to-please Australian Shepherd mix with a sleek black coat. At just over a year old and weighing 50 lbs, he's always ready for fun and affection. His whole body wiggles with excitement, right down to his little nub tail, and he absolutely loves flopping over for belly rubs. He knows how to sit and will go into his crate for a treat. Being food-motivated, he’s eager to learn more commands. Housetrained, he does well with both a fenced yard and leash walks. While he doesn’t love the crate, he settles in and sleeps when needed. Dino enjoys playing fetch, running with other dogs, and getting as much attention and petting as possible. He prefers not to be left alone but simply expresses this by barking. He has a big, loud bark and he does like to talk at times. He also has a happy voice when he's excited and getting belly rubs. Dino gets along well with other dogs, is polite to cats, and has been reported to do well with kids. He takes a few minutes to warm up to new people, but quickly becomes a lovebug. On leash, he’s still learning manners but enjoys his walks. He rides fine in the car but may need a little help getting in. Dino would thrive in an active home where he gets plenty of exercise and, ideally, has a dog friend to play with. Interested in bringing Dino into your heart and home? THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. May 14, 2025, 4:47 pm

MARTIN IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE ADOPTED!   Martin is a handsome 5 year old Australian Shepherd mix. He is a gentle guy who loves people. Martin enjoys chasing and catching flys. He really likes to cuddle up with his humans and take a nap. Martin loves to sleep in bed with his foster at night. Martin is great with other dogs and cats. He walks good on a leash. He is housebroken. Martin doesn’t like his feet touched so we recommend going to a vet to get his nails trimmed. Martin would love to be a new addition to your family. Story
Julia is 11,we got her from a free puppies ad. She was the one in the middle of the pack getting pushed around. She grew up with me and my two sons. She was just taken to the vet last week for a senior panel and she is healthy for a senior dog. She is very smart, and if you take the time, could teach her tricks. She knows sit, shake, dance, lay down, 'leave it' and release word 'ok'. She just lived with a family for 3 months while I was out of the country, they had a cat, and became friends. She has lived in a house with another dog. She is best around other animals that are submissive., and I think it would be a case by case meeting situation. She is a lot at first, loud and pulling on the leash when she sees other animals, so it makes it hard to take her places. She is very sweet, and feeds off your energy. If you are crying in the next room, she'll come in and lick your face and sit with you. She has short spurts of wanting to play, and likes to chase tennis balls.

Story
Everyone loves Lucy!!! She is seven years old, but still plays like a puppy. She is full of energy and needs a home where she can run and play in a fenced yard. She does has anxiety about dog parks, or even walking at a park and hates driving in the car to get there. She has a thundershirt which helps a lot. She loves fetch and her stuffed animals. She can be good one on one with other dogs, but she tends to be the aggressive alpha with them. She is too rough with cats and other small animals. And she is not a good farm dog as she has killed poultry. She’s good with older kids, but due to her hyper nature and need for attention, she’d do best with teens or child free homes where she can be the baby. If she has few adult humans to love only on her, she will spoil you with snuggles!
