This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $300 if picked up in TN, $375 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Mia is a super sweet and friendly 3-year-old Australian Shepherd/Standard Poodle mix with a heart as big as her 50-pound frame. She’s the perfect blend of playful and chill—she loves to run around outside, but once indoors, she’s all about snuggling on the couch (she'll crawl right into your lap if you let her!). Mia has great recall, knows how to sit, and is fully housetrained. She’s a big fan of her elk antler, and it’s adorable watching her pounce on it when you tell her to fetch it! While she loves being close to her people and getting attention, Mia is also quiet and content in her crate when needed. With her friendly, affectionate nature, Mia gets along great when meeting new people. Once properly introduced, Mia gets along with other submissive dogs, however, she would love just to be the queen of her castle. She walks well on a harness, rides calmly in the car, and would love a home with a fenced yard where she can stretch her legs. A home with poodle and grooming experience would be great as Mia will need consistent grooming to keep mats at bay. Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption.
