Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Dino, a high-energy, wiggly, and eager-to-please Australian Shepherd mix with a sleek black coat. At just over a year old and weighing 50 lbs, he's always ready for fun and affection. His whole body wiggles with excitement, right down to his little nub tail, and he absolutely loves flopping over for belly rubs. He knows how to sit and will go into his crate for a treat. Being food-motivated, he’s eager to learn more commands. Housetrained, he does well with both a fenced yard and leash walks. While he doesn’t love the crate, he settles in and sleeps when needed. Dino enjoys playing fetch, running with other dogs, and getting as much attention and petting as possible. He prefers not to be left alone but simply expresses this by barking. He has a big, loud bark and he does like to talk at times. He also has a happy voice when he's excited and getting belly rubs. Dino gets along well with other dogs, is polite to cats, and has been reported to do well with kids. He takes a few minutes to warm up to new people, but quickly becomes a lovebug. On leash, he’s still learning manners but enjoys his walks. He rides fine in the car but may need a little help getting in. Dino would thrive in an active home where he gets plenty of exercise and, ideally, has a dog friend to play with. Interested in bringing Dino into your heart and home? (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. April 5, 2025, 10:14 pm

Story
Julia is 11,we got her from a free puppies ad. She was the one in the middle of the pack getting pushed around. She grew up with me and my two sons. She was just taken to the vet last week for a senior panel and she is healthy for a senior dog. She is very smart, and if you take the time, could teach her tricks. She knows sit, shake, dance, lay down, 'leave it' and release word 'ok'. She just lived with a family for 3 months while I was out of the country, they had a cat, and became friends. She has lived in a house with another dog. She is best around other animals that are submissive., and I think it would be a case by case meeting situation. She is a lot at first, loud and pulling on the leash when she sees other animals, so it makes it hard to take her places. She is very sweet, and feeds off your energy. If you are crying in the next room, she'll come in and lick your face and sit with you. She has short spurts of wanting to play, and likes to chase tennis balls.

Story
Meet Rocky! He is a 6 month old precious boy that came into rescue at just 1 week old. His entire litter has been adopted and he was in a foster to adopt home when we discovered he needed surgery to correct an injury he had when we got him at just 1 week old. He has now had that surgery and is 100% healed but his original home realized they were not ready or able to care for a dog after going through his medical process. So now this big goofball is almost grown up and needs his true FURever home! He is 90% potty trained, super playful, loves kids and dogs (hasn't been around cats) and will do well in almost any environment. He is still a puppy so has puppy energy. If you are interested in meeting Rocky please apply at our website forrescue.net. Rocky is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area.
