Vybe is a sweet, happy, ridiculously cute young Mini American Shepherd who happens to be both vision- and hearing-impaired. Thankfully, nobody told his nose, because that thing works overtime.  Vybe LOVES exploring the world through scent. Sniffing, scent games, finding new smells and anything involving snacks are absolutely his jam. He is incredibly food-motivated, loves learning through positive reinforcement and is always ready for the next adventure, especially if treats are involved. Hi!! I'm Millie!! I'm a young (approx 1 yr old) mini Aussie / mix and I am a happy-go-lucky girl! I weigh in at approximately 25lbs. I play great with dogs of all sizes and do well in my crate at night. I am still figuriing out full house training but on a schedule I am doing pretty well. I need to learn recall - I'm so playful that I think keep away and having you chase me is a fun game. I do need a securely fenced in yard since my recall is not the best yet. I love playing with other dogs so a furry playmate would be great. Without one, I would just need a lot of play time with my humans. Deaf Dogs Rock!!! The amazing love, attention, loyalty and rewards far exceed the special care and needs they have. If you have a heart for the special needs and want to be rewarded 10,000 times beyond, consider adopting this precious boy. Derek is about 9ish months old and 45ish lbs but he may grow a tad more. He came from a very small rural shelter where his chances of getting out safely were slim. He LOVES to play with other dogs, lives for attention and scratches from his human, and is 110% typical velcro aussie. He needs someone that is willing to work patiently with him to learn hand signals so he better understands how to please you (that's all he wants to do). He is learning house training but has not yet mastered it (he is close - it's the excited piddles that get him). He must have a securely fenced in yard (non negotiable) and another playmate would be great. His human needs to have the time to spend with him to train him while he is still young, so he is an even more perfect adult aussie. As an aussie, he has energy and needs to be able to run and play.
