Story
Stella is a friendly and intelligent dog with plenty of energy. We want her to be happy and have a space where she can run around and play with other dogs. Previously, Stella lived in the mountains of Colorado, where she enjoyed a large fenced yard and had lots of friends to play with. Now, she is living in a townhouse without a yard, which has been challenging for her. As a very active young lady, she is currently feeling unhappy. Stella is a mix of Australian Cattle Dog, Husky, German Shepherd, and Golden Retriever, and she is expected to weigh around 30 pounds. She is a loving and eager-to-learn dog who picks up new skills quickly. Stella would be an amazing agility dog, as this would engage both her mind and her need for physical activity. If agility training isn't your interest, she would also thrive in an active lifestyle with an avid walker, hiker, or runner.  Stella is a very quick learner and was immediately fully potty trained.     To ensure the best for Stella, her new owners should have a yard or live on a farm, and it would be great if they have another dog and children.  Stella has plenty of energy to add playing at home to her list of activities.    Stella has been spayed and is current on all her shots until May 2026.  To be considered for her forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Stella is currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)  July 30, 2025, 9:47 pm

Hi, my name is Zara! I am a beautiful gray and white 3-year-old Australian Shepherd Poodle mix. While ladies typically don’t disclose their weight, I am about 50 lbs. If you are a smart and active person or couple looking to adopt a dog with a similar temperament, then we could be a great match! I love going for walks and would appreciate having someone who can incorporate that into my daily routine. Getting outside for exercise is something I enjoy, and I would also make an excellent running companion. Visiting the park or going on hikes would be a lot of fun, too! Not to brag, but I believe I'm quite a looker, and I’m confident that if you took me to the park, we would make lots of friends together. While I love people, I am not used to being around other dogs, so a dog park wouldn’t be suitable for me. However, I’m always up for hanging out where the people are! I’m also a bit too energetic for young children; I sometimes forget that I'm bigger than they are and might accidentally knock them over. It would be wonderful if someone in the household could work from home, as I am crate-trained but don't like spending long hours alone. I thrive on human interaction and am seeking a loving home.  I promise to return your love! Adopt her. Take her tomorrow if you want. She’s an Australian shepherd Jack Russell mix, 9 years old. Was born in Jan-Feb 2016. Had her since she was a pup but I dont have time for her. She gets anxious and gets herself outta the cage then poops on my floors. Im over it, I have 2 toddlers already. She comes with a metal cage, bowls, and food. She likes to lay around and cuddle when she wants too.

Meet Cody! This gentle lady was transferred to us from a local shelter with her best friend Bluegrass & they are ready for a fresh chapter full of love and patience. Cody & Bluegrass are quite nervous/timid around new people & places along with being very bonded to one another, so they will be required to go home together! Additionally, due to their timid nature we would recommend children 6+ in her future home but if you have younger kids and experience with shy and nervous dogs we can discuss this! Bluegrass & Cody are extremely sweet & loving Australian Shepherds mixes who can certainly benefit from an adopter who can help them work on their confidence, just remember to do any introductions with either people, places, or animals slowly! Lastly, we unfortunately do not have any history on these two, so any adopter would likely need to begin or reintroduce potty/house training, & crate training would be highly encouraged! These two lovely dogs need a special home that will give them the time, love, and patience for them to grow into their family. Our kennel team will be happy to answer any questions about them when you come to visit!
