Story
Say hello to Duke!! He is an approx 3 year old Australian Shepherd that is the sweetest love bug ever! He loves dogs, cats, people, everything! His downfall is he will clear any fence and will come when he wants to. He is trained on invisible fence, however, and is very good with that! He will not escape a fence if you are in the yard with him but he just wants to be with his people so he will escape if left alone. Duke loves to play with other dogs and will do best in a home with a fun furry playmate. He would love an active family that will take him on adventures and let him snuggle with them at the end of the day. He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area. If you are interested in Duke please submit an application to be considered.

Story
My name is Ozzie. My people call be Ozzy bear. I am very smart! I know sit, down, leave it, roll over, and I can play dead. I spend most of my day laying around the house, but I LOVE to play fetch. I can fetch all day! I am small, 20 pounds, so I don’t take up too much space and I ride well in the car. I play with big dogs and cats. I can be a bit shy at first, but warm up quickly. I love to snuggle with my people and their kids. I hope we can play too!

Story
Daisy is a 2 year old mini Australian shepherd. She was about 35-40 pounds I believe last time she was weighed. She is really sweet and lovable but does get really nervous around new people and can take awhile to warm up too. She does sometimes bark when she is nervous about meeting someone but not all the time. Unfortunately her and my other dog no longer get along and have been fighting for almost a year. Due to this, she can not be around other dogs unless someone is willing to train her to be around them because she gets aggressive towards them. We are ideally looking for someone who will love her , be patient with her, and work with her. Once she warms up to you, all she loves to do is play and cuddle. It breaks our heart that it’s come to this but we have tried everything else and it’s just not fair to either of them. I love her dearly but want her to have a good happy life. The adoption fee is more to help see who the serious adopters are to help find her the best home.

Story
Yozuri and her sister Yamaha were found when their foster parents were on a walk. The sisters came trotting out of the woods where they had been living in a cardboard box. They were vetted and fostered and adopted to a home. Due to unforeseen circumstances that were not at all of her making, Yozuri finds herself back in the care of Save a Stray once again hoping for a forever home. Yozuri is just happy about life. She is housetrained and crate trained. She gets along with everyone, loves toys, and playing fetch. Yozuri is smart, comes when called, and gives attention easily. She is a playful girl but also loves to snuggle. She is a delight to have around. This girl deserves a home to treat her like a princess. If Yozuri sounds like the one for you and your lifestyle, please read info below regarding adopting. Complete an application at https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635.
