Story
GrammaBella is on the lookout for a loving retirement home where she can spend her golden years basking in comfort, sunshine, and the joy of squeaky toys. While she’s not one for high-energy adventures, Bella has just enough spunk to delight you with her favorite hobbies: gently tossing around her beloved squeaker toys and “attacking” the garden hose like a pro. This sweet senior gal enjoys the company of other calm, laid-back dogs but prefers to dine solo when it comes to meals and bones—no food squabbles here! She’s perfectly happy to share her toys and water, though, and gets along well with cats. Occasionally, when she’s feeling a little playful, she might give them a chase, but she means no harm—just a little sass from a spirited grandma.GrammaBella is currently on a daily dose of Carprofen to help manage some hip discomfort, and it works wonderfully to keep her comfortable and mobile. As she ages, she does appreciate more frequent potty breaks, but she’s a champ about holding it—she can comfortably go 6–7 hours without accidents and sleeps through the night like a dream. Her ideal home would be one with minimal stairs, and she’d love the help of a ramp or some steps to reach cozy spots for snuggling. Her favorite place to be? Curled up on a plush dog bed, right next to her people. If you’re looking for a gentle, silly, and loyal companion to enjoy the quiet life with, GrammaBella is your girl.

Story
Hi there, I’m Bruno – a handsome, outdoorsy guy with a big heart and a strong independent streak. I originally came to the shelter as a surrender, and while I found a home for a while, I ended up back here because my herding instincts were a bit too much for the situation. What can I say? I’ve got that classic working-dog drive! I love being outside – exploring, sniffing, running, lounging in the sun – you name it. Nature is definitely my happy place. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy their company, but I’m not the kind of pup who needs constant attention or snuggles. I like my people, but I also value my personal space. I'm looking for a home that understands my breed traits and respects my need for structure, enrichment, and calm. I’d do best with older, respectful kids who know how to give me space when I need it. I’ve got a lot of love to give to the right family – one that will appreciate me for the independent, loyal, and active dog I am. If you’ve got a quiet backyard, a love for the outdoors, and a soft spot for quirky, smart pups like me, let’s meet. I might just be your perfect match. Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 62.6 Age: 2yrs 9mths 1wks

Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 7/10/2025 Dog Name: Sasha Sex: Female Estimated Breed: Aussie Mix Approximate Age: 4 months Approximate Weight: 15 lbs Litter Name: S Litter Spay/Neuter Status: Not yet spayed (too young) Description:  Sasha is a young pup who is learning what it feels like to be safe and loved. Every day, she’s growing a little braver and discovering the joy of being part of a home where she matters. She’s especially sensitive to fast movements and loud noises, so a calm environment is best, especially while she’s still learning the world isn’t such a scary place. New people can be a bit scary at first, but with slow introductions and a little patience, she will come out of her shell. Each new friend helps her build confidence! She loves other dogs and snuggling up with people she feels safe with. Sasha will warm up and even seek out affection from people once she feels safe. Sasha is crate trained and does amazing in there at night. She is still a puppy, but she is working hard on her leash skills, learning the command sit and working on potty training.    Sasha is a sweet, sensitive girl who just wants to be loved. Ready to help Sasha blossom? She’s ready to meet you! Adoption Fee: $550We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. July 10, 2025, 10:05 pm
