Story
This wiggly girl is so excited to meet you! Cocoa was brought to us in need of a home. Her owner decided to leave her with a relative who was unable to care for her and decided it would be better for her to find a new home. She is very sweet and full of energy. Someone who is willing to take her on regular walks and give lots of love would be ideal. She would prefer being the queen of the house, so no other dog siblings. An adoption fee of $400 will help cover cost of care and also includes spay, microchipping, and vaccines. If you're interested in adopting this pet, please visit www.petsnpals.org and fill out the adoption application.

Story
Falkor is in search of a loving, kind, patient family that wants to help him become more confident. He’s a fun, playful, bouncy boy who’s sure to keep you entertained with his goofy antics. He is 1 year and 9 mos. old, weighing 32 lbs. Sweet and affectionate, a snuggler he is. He’s playful and loves to run zoomies around the yard while carrying a toy in his mouth. As a result of not being well socialized as a puppy, Falkor can be uncomfortable (barking) around strangers and men. Will thrive in an environment where he can participate in routine activities such as daily walks, and training sessions. Falkor enjoys training, is treat motivated, and picks up quickly making him an ideal candidate for further training and behavior modification. He hasn’t met a lot of dogs in his life but has met a few in foster and has shown that he can have doggie friends but is not a fan of all dogs. He’s in a home with two kitties and does okay with them. He’d like to play with them, they would rather not. Please complete our application on our website (1luckydogrescue.org/adoption-application/) or email tiffdawnmarsh@gmail.com, include some info about the type of home you will provide for Falkor.

Story
Willow is looking for a person who understands a drivey bully breed/ bulldog temperament like hers, who loves the quirks of a bull dog, The Willow situation: Willow has lived with a wonderful family for a couple of years now. She is still in need of a home who is ideal for her and her special needs but she has come a very very long way. She is deaf and has one eye, she has been through a lot of personal training, is also trained in hand signs and to use a stim collar (vibrate recall) etc.In the RIGHT situation with routine she mostly lays around all day, and is an easy bull dog 90%. She needs a home without other animals and while she absolutely loves kids, she is too strong for them at times. This may seem silly, but the problem is that while she is VERY tolerant of kids, she is also an extreme leg humper🤦🏼‍♀️.. yup! And sometimes she gets super excited and will grab onto a leg and scratch you up if you don't correct her and kiddos aren't strong enough to do this. She is very very strong. In a home with other animals she is very different- she has high drive and becomes neurotic and overstimulated and very difficult in a home with other animals. In the wrong home she can be difficult to manage so we are looking for the right situation now that we have her figured out. Crate trained, potty trained, great temperament. She thrives and requires a strong calm structure and leadership. She can be very submissive to her people but can also be pushy and dominant if you aren't managing her properly. It is hard to get her attention with her hearing special needs and loss of an eye, so her person needs to continue to work on her on e collar recall/ hand signals. She has already received lots of training. We want to ensure that her adoptive home will love and keep her for life.🐾 Go to www.k9ppr.org to send us an adoption application and tell us all about you and the home you would give sweet Willow! #k9ppr loves their bulldogs! Opt to adopt!-Treadmill trained-Can get too excited (overstimulate), like many bully breeds, so she thrives and requires a strong calm structure and leadership.- Too much prey drive for cats, and while she can now be around other dogs in a controlled setting, she should not live with other dogs. - Can be very submissive to her people but can also be pushy and dominant if you aren't managing her properly. - She is Active but calms down and chills. - She loves kids but right now we are looking for an adult home It is hard to get her attention with her hearing special needs and loss of an eye, so her person needs to continue to work on her on e collar recall/ hand signals. She has already received intensive training, and is awesome with her trainer, who will give her adopter free training. We want to ensure that her adoptive home will love and keep her for life which the communication benefits from training will help with.Being special needs her adoption fee is just a donation of your choice towards her medical costs with the agreement that you do some free training with her trainer. However please note that bull dogs are not low cost dogs to own!🐾 Go to www.k9ppr.org to send us an adoption application and tell us all about you and the home you would give sweet Willow! #k9ppr loves their bulldogs! Story
Spuds (Spudnik) is a handsome 14 month old 1/2 French bulldog/ 1/2 Bull Terrier male. Spud looks a lot like Spuds MacKenzie though our Spuds is more black and tan. He is a loving boy who has been good with kids as young as newborn to 2 years old. Spud does not do well with other dogs in the home as he is territorial with toys/bones/food. He would do well as an only dog though he is good with other dogs in a park setting and loves to play. He is high energy and needs a home where he has lots of room to run around and have a human companion to play with. He would make an excellent running partner! Spud has typical chewing behavior for a puppy/young dog. Providing refrigerated/frozen items to chew on would help. Spud has been destructive when left alone for more than an hour but again providing him with things to chew on will help. Spud has a loveable personality but definitely needs structure and someone who can give him the attention he needs. He is potty trained and lived both indoors and out, though should be inside with his family. He is kennel trained as well and enjoys nap time in his kennel. Spuds has been neutered and up to date on all his shots as well as micro-chipped. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) www.animalfriendsconnect.org 4. For Petfinders ( scroll down to the biography then click the adoption link) http://animalfriendsconnect.org/adoption-application-dogs/ 5.
