Reginald’s story is heartbreaking… but it’s also proof that even the most forgotten dogs can learn to feel safe again. ❤️ Reginald was found dumped far out in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by piles of trash. He survived by eating rocks and plastic, desperately trying to stay alive. He slept hidden beneath pieces of cardboard, trying to disappear from a world that had failed him. We don’t know how long he was out there alone, but by the time help arrived, he was in BAD shape. Then, completely by chance, a kind person spotted him while off-roading. Rescue efforts immediately began, and the moment Reginald realized he was finally safe… his entire body relaxed. Like he had been holding his breath for weeks waiting for someone to come. Now this sweet boy is thriving in foster care. He may still carry some physical and emotional scars from his past, but today he is healthy, loved, and so incredibly happy to be alive. Reginald is about 4 years old, 50 pounds, and we believe he’s a Bulldog/Staffordshire mix. He’s short, stocky, adorable, and full of personality. His favorite place in the world is curled up in your lap under a soft blanket. He loves sunbathing, going for car rides, and simply being near his people. When he gets excited, his whole body wiggles and he makes the cutest little grunting and whining noises that will absolutely melt your heart. Despite everything he’s been through, Reginald does not show an ounce of aggression. He has such a gentle, soft vibe about him that people immediately notice when they meet him. He can still startle easily with loud noises or sudden movements, which is understandable considering his past, but his heart is incredibly sweet. Because of his background, we do recommend slow and gradual introductions with other dogs so he can continue building confidence and feeling secure. We are not sure how he is with cats. Reginald doesn’t need perfection. He just needs someone who will never abandon him again. After everything he survived, we would love nothing more than to see this boy finally get the safe, loving forever home he’s always deserved. ❤️🐾

She's a playful yet calm dog who gets excited when food is being prepared or when she encounters strangers. Xena loves playing with her toys and enjoys going for rides. She's an affectionate dog who gets along well with both kids and adults. As an indoor dog, Xena has a comfortable life, and her diet consists of Chewy brand canned food, although she's not picky and enjoys other foods too. A groomer visits her once a month to keep her well-groomed. Unfortunately, my husband passed away this year, and I'm facing medical issues, making it challenging for me to care for Xena.

She is an indoor dog , pees and poo outside when she gets up in the morning and expects treats after otherwise she will bark. She plays with her fav toys and know where to find her toys. She does not bite, likes to sleep in her bed not necessarily to have a linen or blanket but she makes her own bed if you place a blankly and she makes sure she gets comfortable before she sleeps. People loves her bec she is adorable . She likes everyone she meets however she barks at the first meeting with a stranger. Patting make her comfortable and trustful and she does not have a smell.

*Courtesy Post* Meet Espi. A gentle soul learning that the world can be kind. She is about 5-6 years old. She was found severely starved on an abandoned property, left to fend for herself. Despite everything she’s been through, Espi has shown us that her heart is still open. She is a very sweet girl, she just needs a little time to feel safe with new people. She is shy at first and takes some time to trust. The best way to win her over is actually to give her space and let her come to you. Fast movements toward her face or coming towards her too fast can make her nervous so patience and calm energy goes a long way with this girl. Once she realizes she’s safe, she will ask you for pets by giving you her paw. She is house trained, crate trained and does well with other dogs. While she isn’t necessarily looking for a constant playmate, she enjoys hanging out and coexisting with other dogs. Espi is very food motivated. She hasn’t quite mastered taking treats gently from your hand yet, but she absolutely loves playing catch with treats and will happily participate in a snack toss session. Because Espi is still learning to feel safe in the world, she would do best in a calm, adult only home. Older, respectful environments where people understand that trust takes time will allow her to thrive. She can live with or without other dogs. She just needs someone patient enough to let her unfold at her own pace.
