Honey (she goes by Dolce, but we have another dog also with that name) came from a home with far too many dogs that overwhelmed the owner. Honey is 43 pounds, is recently spayed and is microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Honey is being treated for an ear infection, and is on some high quality food and fish oil to clean up her skin. She is a typical female, who can get a little growly around strangers poking and prodding (not a fan of the vet but manageable), but has lived with other dogs and kids with no issues. Her coat is cleaning up slowly with good food and some antibiotics. She came to us with a pretty patchy coat. Honey is the princess, preferring inside to out (she is completely housetrained, but just doesn't want to hang out in the yard otherwise). She is quiet, not a big barker and likes to give kisses and hugs. Honey is fostering in the Indio, California area. Bear is a calm older male who has life left to live. Bear was found as a stray, is good with other dogs, walks well on a leash. We did bloodwork and a urinalysis and this boy is healthy, so he is freshly neutered! Bear has a gorgeous coat and chill personality. He can be a but growly, so we are recommending a home without small children. He is taking gabapentin daily as he appears a bit arthritic, but he gets around fine, and he sees and hears perfectly when you have a treat in your hand (his hearing is actually poor overall). He loves hanging out with you inside, preferring shorter walks and doesn't care for cold weather. He is good for car rides and loves trips to the pet store to pick a toy! Oh, and he loves his bones and scratches from his favorite people. He is about 45 pounds. He is fostering just east of San Francisco.
