Darlene was surrendered to the shelter when her owners could no longer care for her. She was living with 2 other dogs and is good with new dogs. Darlene lived with kids and is housetrained, affectionate and well-mannered. Darlene will bark at strangers and sounds the alarms for deliveries. She is 49 pounds, and we are working on cleaning up some skin issues (high quality food and fish oil, with an exam scheduled at vet). She is spayed, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. Daisy is an amazing female shar-pei, who grew up with a family that socialized her with other dogs, kids and even cats. She is used to hanging out with the family. Sadly, the family lost their housing and Daisy is looking for a family that she can have more fun with. Daisy is described as playful, energetic, friendly and affectionate, but she can also be quiet, shy and nervous. She was used to sleeping on the bed, but would adjust to a dog bed if needed. She has been to the dog park, does pull a little on the leash (her last vet appointment clocked her at 33 pounds so may be manageable), and knows how to use a dog door. She isn't a fan of mailmen and would prefer to walk over car rides. She isn't a jump over the gate/fence, doesn't counter surf for human food, isn't a digger and only barks at people at front door...practically perfect! Rolls is an amazing 35 pound cuddle bug! She can be around other dogs, but would be best as an only dog as she can be an alpha. She is great with cats and kids!! Rolls is spayed, up to date on vaccines, is microchipped and is ready to go. She likes toys, isnt a huge fan of crates, and does have some separation anxiety (barking and scrarching) so would love to go along on activities or have someone who is home quite a bit. She walks well on a leash and greets strangers nicely. Mostly, she wants to cuddle. Her foster mom says she hasn't heard barking yet (probably because she is showered with love and attention). Helena is an amazing smart female that is looking for her forever home. She would love a home with another dog as she loves to wrestle and play. A Shar pei experienced home would be ideal, who understand the females can be a bit bossy and that understands health issues. Helena is one of several puppies we took into rescue (along with both her shar-pei parents). She has been fostering with Frank (see photo) and two other dogs in the foster home and does great with all of them. Helena can pull herself up on a couch or bed already, loves to snuggle and is a typical puppy ready to go go go. We are working on potty training, and she has had two rounds (of three) of vaccines. Helena is fostering in the west Los Angeles area. She will be spayed and have all vaccines and a microchip prior to adoption (probably ready to go week of Feb 16). What can we say about Maci (M'Lou)? She is a GREAT most Loving Dog! She's definitely a peoples dog. She does not do too well with other Female Dogs, but seems to do well with male dogs. Other than this, she takes the absolute best of both breeds, The sweetness of the Boxer and the also the sweetness and need for human contact of the Pittie. She is such a loving pup! She loves to play Fetch, loves to run with you or takes long walks. She will be your couch potato, your cuddle bunny, great travel partner, anything you wish your true companion to be...Just over 3 years old, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, she is great with kids, and this goofy girl is ready for her new forever home!

Due to landlord restrictions, we sadly need to rehome our 9-month-old male Boxer–Beagle mix. He is house trained, friendly, and full of personality. He loves playing with other dogs, is good with cats and kids, and truly gets along with everyone he meets. He loves going on his walks and he has a blast at the dog park. He’s still young and will need continued training and consistency, but he has so much potential and a great temperament. We are looking for a loving, stable home where he can get the time, attention, and exercise he deserves. This decision was not made lightly and is only due to housing issues. Our priority is finding him the right home.
