Hi there new friend! My name is Olive. Im a 2-year-old, Blue Fawn Olde English Bulldogge, that means I look a bit like an English Bulldog, but Im long and lean. Think bully sport mode. I also have beautiful green hazel eyes that I love to look at you lovingly with. I started life as a breeding dog, but I guess I wasnt very good at my job, so lucky me- I got to retire! Now Im reliving the puppyhood that I didnt get the 1st time around. I like to explore my world with my mouth, because everything is new to me- but I would never hurt a fly on purpose. Im getting better about exploring with my nose and not my mouth. Ive also learned that when people say leave it that they dont want me to have something. Im so smart and Im learning what makes my foster people happy everyday. I hope my forever family will help me continue to learn and become the perfect house pup. What I dont have to learn is how to be affectionate and loving, because I already know all that really important stuff! I also love to run and jump and play, and boy can I run fast! My foster parents laugh at my gymnastics everyday, and say that I have a happy-go-lucky personality. I try hard to use the potty outside, but I havent mastered the leash yet. I dont really understand that Im tethered to you. I have a backyard here, but Im working on understanding a leash walk too. Im a quiet girl, and I havent really used my voice here at all. I also sleep happily in my crate all night. I need to get my beauty sleep for more zoomies. Ive been getting along well with the other dogs here, and I like all people too, but small people might be harder for me. Im just not the carefulest of girls yet. So, whatcha think? I'm Zeus, Im about 5 years old, and Im an English Bulldog guy. Im bonded with my adorable sister Luna. We have been together since the beginning, and were a package deal. Let me tell you about ME! My foster family just adores my big, sad-looking eyes I know I look a little pitiful, but I promise Im all fun and love! I love following you everywhere to the kitchen, the bedroom, even the bathroom you cant close the door fast enough for me not to slip right in and say hi! LOL! I know some commands and like to do them when I feel like it, but honestly, Im pretty chill most of the time. Im potty-trained and rarely have accidents in the house yay for me! I do pull a bit on the leash during walks, but Im working on it I want to be the perfect pup! I travel great in a car, and I get along with other dogs and people just fine. I can nap in a kennel with my sister Luna beside me shes such a sweetheart! Luna was born deaf, but that doesnt stop her at all! She loves naps, cuddles, and being around people and other dogs. Shes more of a cuddler than I am, but Ill be your shadow for sure! Luna has a lot of the same behavioral tendencies as me, but Luna can get startled easily because shes deaf, but Im always there to reassure her we make a great team and would love to be your new best friends! I may get a bit upset if you move in too fast and invade my bubble right on Day 1 (I don't know you like that yet!) but give me some time to get to know you first on my terms and I'm sure we'll become the best of friends! Just a Little Barky at Times: Perhaps due to not having people pay good attention to me earlier in my life, I will bark to let you know if I'm feeling left out or want some snacks or belly scritches. Hi ya everyone, I'm Spiderman! I'm a 5 year old, healthy 50lb male English bulldog that was experiencing stress being in a shelter environment. Chicago English Bulldog Rescue stepped in and got me right out of there. Now I'm in an amazing foster home getting used to my new space and their routine. Now that I'm out of that shelter and into this nice foster home my personality is starting to shine. My foster parents say that I have some great manners already! I know sit, I know stay, and I know come....I'm kind of a know-it-all I guess! I also am crate trained, can do stairs and I'm house trained. I am also okay with the resident cat and have even napped with her a few times. Ive lived with dogs in the past, but I think Id prefer to not have other dogs in my forever home. When it's time for a car ride or a walk, I jump around impatiently waiting for my foster parents-I just get so excited for an adventure I can't help it. During play time with my toys I love to play a game of chase and tug of war with my foster humans. Sometimes these people that I'm staying with play hide and seek with me, but I always wind up finding them! My foster parents are also teaching me, "find it". I'm still learning it but I have to search for treats or my favorite toys. When I'm not on an adventure I love to snuggle up to my foster humans to hang out with them on the couch. I love to chew my bones and my new antler with my humans on the couch or in my soft bed. Sometimes when I want to snuggle or I want attention from my foster parents I will walk on them or lay on top of them. They say I shouldn't do this but I tell them I'm just showing trust and seeking lovies. At times when I want attention or you stop petting me I can get mouthy, but my foster parents are working on this with me by disengaging and redirecting. In addition, they make sure I get regular exercise and play fun games - hence hide and seek and "find it". I'm not a fan of getting my wrinkles cleaned but my foster parents give my lots of praise and treats when I do allow it. My perfect forever home would be one with no kids around. Since I have the potential to get mouthy from time to time adults would be best. What can I say, I'm a work in progress but aren't we all? I know I'm not perfect but my Spidey senses tell me there is someone out there for me. Butt and body wiggles mean happy dog! Hey yall. My name is Lola. Im a five year old English Bulldog. Im a muscle bound fifty pound healthy girl who has a perfect figure. I love food and treats and my foster mom uses a puzzle bowl and food in puzzle toys to keep my smart little mind working. Im such a good girl: I listen well, I love my crate and Ive never had an accident in my foster home. I even walk well on a leash which just the sight of sets off the body wiggles. I needed some medical care and shots when my owner surrendered me but a little vet and home care has done wonders. Im now up to date on all my shots, but Im waiting until early January to be spayed as I was in heat when I was surrendered. I love men, especially men who take charge and let me know that theyre the boss. My foster dad does all my bully special care. I dont particularly care for it but I know who the boss is and I dont fight it. Plus, he follows it with belly rubs and treats. I am so adorable with my cute little smooshy face and happy body. And Im a lover, ready to give slobbery kisses. Plus I love food so much that I will follow you to the ends of the earth to get some goodies. I have the most flexible hips and when I stretch outside, my whole belly touches the ground. The snow doesnt bother me though Im happy that my foster dad has cleared a nice path in the grass for me to do my business. Im a very curious girl and I definitely give everything a good sniff. And I love going for car rides- Dont leave the car door open or I will just jump right in. My previous owner didnt tell CEBR much about me but it was apparent that I was very protective of him. My foster parents learned that Im not very trusting when first meeting someone. It only took me a few days to warm up to my foster dad. I need time to adjust to most new people and dont want them touching me, especially my head or back until I know them. I dont think that children would be a good fit for me because of this. I love my foster mom but we are still working on our relationship so that we trust each other. I seem to have a harder time trusting women. I am working on getting along with my foster sister, a senior lady of 11 plus years. I dont think that we will ever just hang together, but were working on supervised hang outs. I will do best as an only dog. My perfect home is one to two adults who will spend the time to build a trusting relationship with me. I love walks or even just going out in the yard, training time with treats and sleeping in my crate. I know that whoever adopts me will be lucky to get me as Im such a good girl!
