Hi there new friend! My name is Olive. Im a 3-year-old Blue Fawn Olde English Bulldogge, or so they say. That means I look a bit like an English Bulldog, but Im long and lean. Think bully sport mode. I also have beautiful green hazel eyes that I love to look at you lovingly with. I started life as a breeding dog, but I guess I wasnt very good at my job, so lucky me- I got to retire! Now Im reliving the puppyhood that I didnt get the 1st time around. Im still learning which things are dog toys I can chew on and which are not, but Im getting better at it every day. Ive also learned that when people say leave it that they dont want me to have something. Im so smart and Im learning what makes my foster people happy everyday. I hope my forever family will help me continue to learn and become the perfect house pup. What I dont have to learn is how to be affectionate and loving, because I already know all that really important stuff! My favorite things are napping on the couch, snuggling with my people (or my foster dog siblings), playing and of course eating! I also love to run and jump and play, and boy can I run fast! My foster parents laugh at my gymnastics everyday, and say that I have a happy-go-lucky personality. Im almost completely house trained but sometimes I still have accidents at night. As with everything else, Im a little better at it every day! Another thing Im still learning is walking on a leash. I have a backyard here, but Im working on understanding the leash too. Im a quiet girl and I havent really used my voice here at all. I also sleep happily in my crate all night. I need to get my beauty sleep for more zoomies. I get along great with the other dogs here, and I like all people too, but small people might be harder for me, only because Im not the carefulest of girls yet. So, whatcha think? Thanks to some patience and yummy treats as motivation, I've done a great job at learning that my bathroom is outdoors although, sometimes accidents still happen. Slow to Trust: While I love meeting new people, it takes me a little bit of time to learn to trust new folks. I may get a bit upset if you move in too fast and invade my bubble right on Day 1 (I don't know you like that yet!) but give me some time to get to know you first on my terms and I'm sure we'll become the best of friends! Just a Little Barky at Times: Perhaps due to not having people pay good attention to me earlier in my life, I will bark to let you know if I'm feeling left out or want some snacks or belly scritches. I generally settle down after a while but it'd be good for my new home to be understanding of my need to be heard sometimes. So, are you ready to roll the dice and take a Chance?
