I picked up Sherman aka Big Sherm from someone who was giving him away. He is 3 yrs old. The landlord gave them 1 day to re-home Shermy. I was afraid he would go to someone who might hurt him, so I took him in. Hes a good boy, but needs someone who can help in his training. He is too big & strong for me, Im 62 and cant walk him without being pulled. He likes to nap a lot. It took a few months but he played with my Chihuahua and he leaves my cats alone. He has played with my son's dogs. He would nip at my granddaughter socks and try taking them off. She avoids him, so Im not sure how he would do around children. He needs his vaccines, he is unaltered. He also has a fixable cherry eye. He likes to lay with his head in my my lap & snuggle. I would keep him but I dont have the finances or the strength to train him. He sits & stays on command. Adoption fee will be refunded to his new family after 3 months. He needs someone who is patient, kind, and who will love him dearly & forever.

This girl was found at an auto shop, hence her name. She is very friendly and playful. She is around other dogs her age and does well. She likes to be in charge so she would do best in a home with calmer, submissive dogs. She will need puppy training as we aren’t sure if she has had any. She likes toys and loves to show them off to people! She is good around kids but is excitable so will need to learn how to be around little ones. She is learning how to be on a leash and does okay in a kennel. She’s just an active girl who needs an active family to keep her busy. She is just looking for fun times and a family to share them with her. She is being fostered in TN but we do transport using the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. We transport every weekend alternating between the Northeast and the Midwest.

Bertha is an amazing bulldog mix with red Merle coloring that is gorgeous. Bertha was found as a stray most likely after being used as a breeding dog. Bertha makes a great cuddle buddy on the couch, but she can also enjoy short walks with you. She loves to self entertain by chewing on her toys, she loves the simple things in life! This little potato (or is she a meatball?) is 2-3 years old and has a smile and a waddle that will melt your heart. She’s convinced she’s a lap dog, so get ready for some cozy cuddle sessions. Bertha enjoys short walks and loves chewing on her toys. Bertha would thrive with an experienced adopter, she can get a little territorial of her home due to her bulldog nature but she has been easy to work with through our trainer and would do best in a home committed to continual training. Hi, I’m Shirley Temple! Don’t let my Resting Grump Face fool you, I am far from grumpy! I’m actually a very happy girl who loves being loved on. I give lots of love back too! I’m a 3-4 year old bully mix and weigh 37 pounds. I was found as a stray and brought to the police department kennel, where I lived for about 2 weeks before my foster mom picked me up. I love car rides, walks, napping, and treats! Speaking of treats, they’re probably my favorite thing ever; especially apples, peanut butter, pumpkin, and banana! I get very excited over food, especially my foster mom’s, but every day I’m getting better and better about not trying to get it off the table! I’m a pretty good girl when we’re walking. Sometimes we see kiddos and other dogs when we’re walking, and I don’t even bark at them! I just stop and watch them, because I love everyone and just want to know what’s going on! I'm a go with the flow girl. My favorite thing to do at home is be right next to my foster mom , whether we’re doing chores, sitting outside or relaxing on the couch. I even try to jump in her lap while she’s working. I do love to lounge, so I may be better in a home with older kids. Don’t get me wrong, I love everybody but I might not be able to keep up with little ones. I’ve been working REAL HARD on potty training. I’ve made a ton of progress since being in my foster home. I still have accidents in the house but they’re mostly on potty pads. I'm even learning how to tell my foster mom when I have to go outside! It’s only a matter of time before I’m fully housebroken!
