I have an English Bulldog named Sherman who is too strong for me to walk or train, and I can't afford his care anymore. He is a lovable 4 yr old boy. I took him in when someone on FB needed to find a new home for him because their landlord was unaware of Big Sherm and gave them only 24 hours. A few people showed interest in him, but I was worried someone might use him as a bait dog, so I asked if I could take him in. I want him to enjoy the best life possible, but I'm unable to provide that for him at this time. In several pictures, he shows a cherry eye that has now been repaired. He needs a home that can provide professional training for him. It took a few months for him to get used to my cat and Chihuahua, and he basically ignores them 95% of the time. I will need to verify that you have a veterinarian. He needs to sleep inside the house at night. He enjoys resting with his head in your lap. He loves to nap, cuddle, and eat! He's a very stubborn boy, who needs a very good home!

Meet Momo! He is guessed to be a little over a year old and weighs 51 lbs. He is the sweetest, goofiest little beefcake around. He loves people and loves other dogs. We haven’t tested him with cats yet. He gets along with kids, too, but due to his age and stature we would recommend he only go with older kids. Momo has some hind end weakness and is also completely incontinent (both bowel and bladder). He will need a very special home that will be able to manage and accept these issues- as they will not improve and will be lifelong. He currently wears belly bands and diapers and we express his bladder several times a day to help keep him dry. We suspect he has spina bifida, but the radiologist said his xrays appeared normal. Momo's adoption donation of $450 helps cover the cost of his medical care. Adopters must live within a 1 hour driving distance from Romeoville, IL.
