I am 37 lbs., and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $500 All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. Meet Momo! He is guessed to be a little over a year old and weighs 51 lbs. He is the sweetest, goofiest little beefcake around. He loves people and loves other dogs. We haven’t tested him with cats yet. He gets along with kids, too, but due to his age and stature we would recommend he only go with older kids. Momo has some hind end weakness and is also completely incontinent (both bowel and bladder). He will need a very special home that will be able to manage and accept these issues- as they will not improve and will be lifelong. He currently wears belly bands and diapers and we express his bladder several times a day to help keep him dry. We suspect he has spina bifida, but the radiologist said his xrays appeared normal. Momo's adoption donation of $450 helps cover the cost of his medical care. Adopters must live within a 1 hour driving distance from Romeoville, IL. Reference checks, vet checks, and home visits required. We do not do same-day adoptions. Email us with any questions info@perfectpooches.org.
