I am 37lbs and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $550 All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. I have an English Bulldog named Sherman who is too strong for me to walk or train, and I can't afford his care anymore. He is a lovable 4 yr old boy. I took him in when someone on FB needed to find a new home for him because their landlord was unaware of Big Sherm and gave them only 24 hours. A few people showed interest in him, but I was worried someone might use him as a bait dog, so I asked if I could take him in. I want him to enjoy the best life possible, but I'm unable to provide that for him at this time. In several pictures, he shows a cherry eye that has now been repaired. He needs a home that can provide professional training for him. It took a few months for him to get used to my cat and Chihuahua, and he basically ignores them 95% of the time. I will need to verify that you have a veterinarian. He needs to sleep inside the house at night. He enjoys resting with his head in your lap. He loves to nap, cuddle, and eat! He's a very stubborn boy, who needs a very good home!
