I'm 29 lbs., and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $550 All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. Here is what the foster has to say about this sweet girl! “ Coco Melon has been in her foster home for about a month and is doing great! She is crate trained, sleeping nicely at night and when left alone, and house-broken. Because she’s still young, she benefits from supervision when out of her crate and is learning not to nip and not to counter/table surf. Coco lives with 2 other pittie-mix dogs and does well, though she would thrive in a home with zero or one other dog. She plays and snuggles with her foster pittie sister, and mostly leaves her foster pittie brother alone, understanding that he runs the show. Coco enjoys her fenced-in yard where she can explore, chew sticks, and relax. She’s been on a few walks and walks nicely without pulling too hard, and she doesn’t seem to require too much exercise. She’s learning good treat manners, loves Nylabones, and also enjoys her naps.
