He's a very sweet sidekick who wants to be with his people all the time. If you need a constant companion, "Bullseye" is your guy. He's been doing great working on his house manners, knows sit, come, stay, and is currently learning to use a crate and "wait" when doors are opening. He goes to the door when he wants to go out to potty and walks well with his pack on a leash. He gets excited to meet other dogs but he's the only dog in the current household and does great! He was previously in another household with other dogs and did well too except he and the resident dog were both intact at the time and butted heads a little - since his surgery and his time with current fosters, he has been great! He thinks he's a lap dog even though he is a solid medium sized dog. Does really well with a nice long walk in the mornings and is happy to follow his people around and nap whenever they stay still enough. He sleeps through the night with no accidents. Please give a warm welcome to Billie Jean 💕 This young lady found herself picked up as a stray, waiting and wondering if anyone would come looking for her. Sadly, no one did. Their loss, clearly. Meanwhile, one of our incredible fosters had just sent their last foster dog off to their forever home and discovered something deeply unsettling… a suspicious amount of peace and quiet. 😅 Instead of enjoying clean floors, uninterrupted snacks, and the absence of random zoomies, they did what rescue people do best: made emotionally questionable decisions and stepped right back up. And honestly? Perfect timing. So now Billie Jean gets the soft landing she deserves, a warm bed, and humans who already said “the house is too quiet” (which, frankly, is how you know they’re one of us).
