I picked up Sherman aka Big Sherm from someone who was giving him away. He is 3 yrs old. The landlord gave them 1 day to re-home Shermy. I was afraid he would go to someone who might hurt him, so I took him in. Hes a good boy, but needs someone who can help in his training. He is too big & strong for me, Im 62 and cant walk him without being pulled. He likes to nap a lot. It took a few months but he played with my Chihuahua and he leaves my cats alone. He has played with my son's dogs. He would nip at my granddaughter socks and try taking them off. She avoids him, so Im not sure how he would do around children. He needs his vaccines, he is unaltered. He also has a fixable cherry eye. He likes to lay with his head in my my lap & snuggle. I would keep him but I dont have the finances or the strength to train him. He sits & stays on command. Adoption fee will be refunded to his new family after 3 months. He needs someone who is patient, kind, and who will love him dearly & forever.

This girl was found at an auto shop, hence her name. She is very friendly and playful. She is around other dogs her age and does well. She likes to be in charge so she would do best in a home with calmer, submissive dogs. She will need puppy training as we aren’t sure if she has had any. She likes toys and loves to show them off to people! She is good around kids but is excitable so will need to learn how to be around little ones. She is learning how to be on a leash and does okay in a kennel. She’s just an active girl who needs an active family to keep her busy. She is just looking for fun times and a family to share them with her. She is being fostered in TN but we do transport using the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. We transport every weekend alternating between the Northeast and the Midwest.

Bertha is an amazing bulldog mix with red Merle coloring that is gorgeous. Bertha was found as a stray most likely after being used as a breeding dog. Bertha makes a great cuddle buddy on the couch, but she can also enjoy short walks with you. She loves to self entertain by chewing on her toys, she loves the simple things in life! This little potato (or is she a meatball?) is 2-3 years old and has a smile and a waddle that will melt your heart. She’s convinced she’s a lap dog, so get ready for some cozy cuddle sessions. Bertha enjoys short walks and loves chewing on her toys. Bertha would thrive with an experienced adopter, she can get a little territorial of her home due to her bulldog nature but she has been easy to work with through our trainer and would do best in a home committed to continual training. Bertha is crate trained and is learning commands like "wait" and knows how to "sit"! Her fosters describe her as a mixed breed of: rustic potatoes, meatballs, and tater tots. Look at this silly girl. MS. Honey is probably bulldog/staffy mix about 11 months old. She has been with us just around 5 weeks. Before coming to us and going to boarding she lived her life outside. She is completely vetted! We are working on housebreaking, she is still a puppy who lived outside her entire life, so we are working on learning her signals that she needs to go out, but improving. We are also making sure to take her outside when she gets up from a nap or from her night sleep. She is doing well with crate training, just like any toddler she would prefer to be out of the crate, especially when there are new people she could be getting attention from. * Her personality is silly, inquisitive, sweet, and loving. She also can be sassy when she wants her attention, you see she came from a very bad background with no love or attention so now she craves it. She is a great cuddler with her people. Just like any puppy she will need continued work and patience with walking on a leash, teaching her off, recall, etc. We think she is part alligator as she loves to be outside and when called in she "gator rolls", she is doing better with this as she loves being in a loving warm home with her foster family. While in boarding prior to coming to us she did well with other dogs and didn't care about the cats. She is currently living with a couple cats, due to her size and excitement we do keep an eye on her and limit her interaction. If a cat runs she will likely chase it. So as you can see she is a funny, sassy, fun loving girl. If your looking for a fun excitable girl, she is for you. Hi, I am sadly giving up my angel Paisley. She is the best girl any dog lover could ever ask for. I’ve had her since my 4 year old was born and she’s the most gentle girl I’ve ever met. She is a cuddler and a little bit of couch potato but still loves to have fun. I am hoping she goes to someone who has a dog already. She has the most goofiest and silliest personality, as most Bull Terrier’s do. She absolutely would love a friend to play with. She is potty trained, can sit, paw, lay down. She’s great on a leash, but is a jumper - only to say hello. She will be 6 on April 1st. Any questions please ask. Adoption Fee is negotiable, but required to know she is going to a good home. Please, I highly doubt at all, but if any issues please return her back as I need to ensure she is going to a FOREVER home. *She does have allergies as do most BT’s, I will provide her special shampoo that does the trick. It’s inexpensive. Willing to meet. <3
