Story
Meet Daisy Dukes: The Independent Farm Helper Introducing Daisy Dukes, also known as Daisy Collerville. Rescued from a hoarding case, Daisy is a nine-year-old, 60-pound shepherd mix who thrives on having her own space. Although she's feral and prefers to keep her distance from people, she would be a perfect fit for a farm where she can put her excellent perimeter-walking skills to use. Daisy is a natural at keeping predators off your property and would be a valuable asset in a farm setting. She gets along well with chickens and cats, and she's generally good with other dogs. While she's fine with people, she prefers to stay away and enjoy her independence. Given her background and feral nature, Daisy currently lives in boarding due to her fear of people. She would do great on a fenced-in farm where she can roam freely and enjoy the barn life without the risk of wandering off. Daisy is looking for a special sponsor to help cover her boarding costs and ensure she continues to live comfortably. If you have a farm and are looking for a hardworking helper who's good with animals and prefers her own space, Daisy Dukes is your girl. If you're interested in sponsoring Daisy and helping her live a safe and happy life, please consider supporting her today. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Berne, means 'bear-like' and this boy is so cute and has the waddle of a bear! As cute as he was we noticed something else was going on with this boy besides being a tail-less wonder. His back end seemed smooshed. We got him checked out, after x-rays and evaluation he has a compressed spine. This is common in some breeds. We don't know his breed but it will be something he has forever. He is not in pain and still acts like a normal puppy. As he gets a little bigger, we will see if there are any remedies or treatments that might help him but we do suspect he will live a happy life and would be an awesome addition to any family. He may need to be in household with older kids so he doesn't get knocked around. He is potty trained. He is doing great with crate and leash training. He loves tug of war, bully sticks and pestering his older foster siblings. He has spurts of energy a couple times a day, doesn't last long and otherwise very chill! Vet suspects he will get to 30 pounds. This sweet boy was found as a stray in a park. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Story
Milo was born in August 2018 and we got him when he was around 6 months old. I've trained him on all the basic commands: sit, lay down, speak, stay, crate, etc. He is crate trained. He's very smart and is food-motivated. He's slow to warm up to strangers (people and other dogs). It takes some time before he gets comfortable around a new face. Milo is a reactionary biter when grooming him. We've learned to use a muzzle. He's house-trained and would be a great dog for anyone looking for a loyal friend. We're rehoming Milo because we're expecting a baby in October 2024 and will not have the time to care for him.

Story
Meet Broski: Your Ride or Die Best Friend! Broski is a fun-loving pup who will soon be your BFF! Not a day goes by, where this 3 month old puppy isn't looking to play fetch or to show off his favorite toys. He is still teething, so he loves having durable toys that feel good on his gums. Broski is very dog social and enjoys having a friend to do his zoomies with in the yard. An active family would be a great match for Broski as he has bursts of puppy energy, after his naps. He loves children, but is still a puppy and occasionally needs redirection to not mouth and will need proper supervision around children. Broski is working hard on potty training, but needs a family that will be consistent, patient and positive to ensure his success. Broski was welcomed to DallasDogRRR after being left with an elderly gentlemen that agreed to watch him while his owners went out of town. Upon their return, they never came back for sweet Broski. Luckily, he hasn't given up on humans and wants to show his next family that he is a keeper! The story of hope. Mom and her 4 boys were dumped in the country. Local landowner, took the mom in, got her spayed and vaccinated. She has found a safe haven with them. The puppies needed a place now. Luckily we had amazing fosters step up to take them in so they too can find a furever home. All four sweet, loving and full of fluff!
